I think I bought into the hype of this highlighter, as I find that this highlighter does emphasize my pores, even though I try to apply it with soft focus. That said, it is a warm highlighter with yellow undertones that applies easily and can be builded up for a blinding highlight or gently applied. As other reviewers have said, I think this highlighter performs well in photos.
This is a HG eyeliner for me. I have hooded eyelids so I almost always get eyeliner stamps at the upper fold of my eyelid no matter how long I let the eyeliner dry down. But this doesn't smudge, and has a nice brush to apply the product, which is creamy and goes on easily. It even goes on the waterline! The only thing is that I find the product design unwieldy, but other than that I really …Read more
I have the shade Exposed and this is one of my favourite nude lipsticks. Exposed is a warm nude. For reference I am fair with yellow undertones. I wear Revlon's Colourstay combo/oily 180 Sand Beige/ Laneige Pore Control BB in 23/ Tarte Amazonian Clay 12h Foundation in Fairly LIght Neutral.
The formula isn't as drying as Colourpop's, and it applies evenly. The only thing …Read more
I have shade 01. I like it because it stains my lips, but the cons are that it applies a little patchy and is not as long-wearing as I expected. It stays remarkably longer on the hand when swatching than it does on the lips. Applying it fully to the mouth is really neon-looking, so I always apply ombre-fashion.
I extend the colour and longevity by applying this at least twice …Read more
I have the shades Bumble and More Better:
Bumble: The formula is VERY drying. Without a lip balm underneath, the formula cracks on my lips and stays in the lip creases. Reapplication is also difficult because the colour fades unevenly. That said, I really love the shade and finish of it. It's a warm, terracotta colour. For reference, I am in Revlon's Colourstay 180 sand …Read more
This is a review of the Anna Sui Lipstick V in 402.
First off, the packaging is gorgeous and the lipstick itself, in a star-shaped formation,is really unique and pretty. It would make a great gift.
The formula itself is Ok. It wears well, but upon eating, it pretty much fades away. Reapplication wasn't patchy as the lipstick can be blended out with a finger. The only …Read more
I got a set of Anna Sui cosmetic products as a Christmas gift, and am leaving my reviews after a few months of using the products. First up is the Anna Sui Curl & Volume Mascara 001.
I have naturally long and curly lashes, and therefore have never felt the need for false lashes or gotten lash extensions. I think that this mascara is great for giving a natural look. It isn't …Read more
Bit of background on my skin: Acne-prone, very oily.
Other foundations I wear: Revlon's Colourstay in 180 Sand Beige, Laneige Pore Control BB Cushion in 23 Sand beige
I am "Fairly Light Neutral" in Tarte's amazonian clay 12h.
I like this foundation because it is full coverage and works well to control oil. I have very oily skin - after applying …Read more
