Lotions/ Creams - NIVEA - Happy Sensation Body Lotion

4.0
Created with Sketch.

Apr/15/2010

I tried out the Nivea Happy Time Body Lotion after being given some samples in my local shopping centre. On first impressions I really liked it, the name of it is a little different but its a pretty good product. The thing that struck me about it was the smell. The scent is orange flower- to begin with I couldnt really smell it much but as I started to moisturise it into my skin it smelled a lot …Read more

Polishes - Eyeko - Pastel Polish

4.0

Apr/15/2010

This is a really reasonably priced nail polish and although it looks tiny it’s full of product and contains the same amount as the Barry M polishes. The packaging is so cute! It is milk bottle shaped and is easy to open. There is a flaw to the packaging though and this is the only thing I don’t like about it. It is very fiddly to apply and the brush moves around a bit and isn’t very secure. This …Read more

Lips - Eyeko - Minty Fat Balm for Lips

5.0

Apr/15/2010

The Minty Fat Balm is my favourite. It is really moisturising and gives your lips a nice pearly sheen. It tastes quite similar to Burt's Bees Lip Balm without the tingly sensation. It doesnt matter if you get it on your skin as it isnt obvious unlike the other fat balms which is good. I think it is a little bit overpriced but the packaging is cute and it will last a long time.

Lip Gloss - Eyeko - Eyeko's Raspberry Fat Balm

3.0
Created with Sketch.

Apr/15/2010

The Raspberry Fat Balm gives your lips a dark red colour - it is wearable but im not sure if it suits me! I like the smell of this though as it isn't too strong. You can also use it as a blush - I haven't tried this but I think you'd need to blend it quite a bit to make it look natural. It can be difficult to apply because it is so big but as it is marketed as a 'fat' …Read more

Lips - Eyeko - Strawberry Fat Balm [DISCONTINUED]

3.0

Apr/15/2010

I’ve used lots of other lipbalms before (body shop, Burts bees etc) but this is one of the best at moisturising. It lasts a lot longer than a lot of other lipbalms i’ve used and it smells lovely too. I really like the packaging (all Eyeko packaging is cute!) although if you have tiny lips it could be difficult to apply. You can also use it as a blush but I haven’t tried it like this …Read more

Eyeliner - Eyeko - Eyeko's Line and Shine

4.0
Created with Sketch.

Apr/15/2010

I got 2 of the Line & Shine duos - Plum & Electric Purple and Teal & Electric Blue.
The liners are really pigmented which is always a good thing.
The electric purple and plum are both really nice shades - my favourite is the plum as it's quite wearable and brightens up a softer eyeshadow. It was quite easy to apply along the upper lashline and created a fairly thick …

Skincare - Face - Liz Earle - Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish

4.0
Created with Sketch.

Apr/15/2010

This is one of Liz Earles most successful products so I was really looking forward to seeing what it could do for my skin.
It isn't like any of the cleansers I have previously used: it has really creamy consistency, a bit like a moisturiser and is used on a dry face. This product is fantastic at removing mascara, a lot better than any other eye make-up remover i've tried and is …

Toners - Liz Earle - Instant Boost Skin Tonic

4.0

Apr/15/2010

The first thing I loved about this was the bottle. At first it appears to be a screw-top but actually after twisting it a little nozzle pops out of the lid. It is quite expensive but as you get get lots of control thanks to the clever nozzle it's hard to waste it so it will last a long time. It's really easy to use and I just needed a few squirts on a cotton pad. It smells really fresh …Read more

Moisturizers - Liz Earle - Liz Earle Skin Repair Dry Sensitive

5.0
Created with Sketch.

Apr/15/2010

This for me is the best Liz Earle product i've tried. It has made a fantastic difference to my skin and makes it look radiant and clear. I'm not sure whether this is down to the moisturiser itself or the routine i've been keeping for the past few weeks of Hot Cloth Cleanser, Skin Tonic and Moisturiser.
I can honestly say that I have seen a huge difference in my dry skin since …

Skincare - Body - Liz Earle - Liz Earle Superbalm

3.0
Created with Sketch.

Apr/15/2010

My favourite way to use it is on my lips as it tastes really natural and makes them soft and shiny. It is also nice on my nails and in-between my fingers as it softens dry skin and makes it look healthy.
I like Superbalm but it isn't a product that I use regularly and for that reason I probably wouldn't repurchase. I'm expecting the jar to last me quite a while so although it …
