Cream eyeshadows are so hard to do well, so even though this isn’t perfect (doesn’t always apply evenly, dries out after a few months) the fact that it doesn’t crease too quickly and is actually pigmented makes it a decent choice.
This is my favorite, reliable go-to eyeshadow when other eyeshadows let me down. I have it in “bark” (rich, medium brown). Shimmery without being chock full of glitter. Very pigmented.
**However, while the individual baked shadows are wonderful, the larger 12-shade palettes were poor quality—too much glitter/very little pigment.
Complete waste of money. Couldn’t get hardly any pigment on my eye. The color I did get was patchy and unflattering. And I thought the concept of one color in four finishes would be a good idea but in reality you’re just paying for the same thing x4.
**I bought the shade “thrill seeker” (teal green/blue).
I bought this in Black Currant (dusky purple). It was totally disappointing—too sheer—just looked like glitter gel on the lid. If you pile it on, you can get more color payoff but then it looks cakey/creases. All the usual cream eyeshadow problems.
