Moisturizers - L'Occitane - Immortelle Divine Cream

I can personally attest to the delightful benefits of using l’Occitane skin products.
Upon daily use my skin has improved so much that looks radiant even under unflattering neon office lighting.
This aided in decreasing distractions at work as it takes me substantially less time to perfect my daily office selfie, thereby increasing productivity on the job all while gaining more …

Polishes - REVLON - Black With Envy

I picked this up for two reasons: I love Chanel's Black Pearl & because it was on sale. It is not a total Black Pearl dupe- it is much darker and greener- however I still adore this color. It is very chic and elegant but it also has an edgy side to it. Black Pearl did an amazing job of replicating the multifaceted hue of a Tahitian black pearl, and this is where Black with Envy fails- it …Read more

Cleansers - No Brand (DIY or homemade) - Oil Cleansing Method (OCM)

4.0

Aug/06/2011

I have been experimenting with OCM for just over two months and although this method is not without its downsides, I love the results so far and I can already tell that I will not be cleaning my face with commercial products anymore. I am still in the process of finding the right combination and ratio of oils for me so this review might be a little premature, but I intend to update as I go along …Read more

Liquid - CHANEL - Vitalumiere Aqua Ultra-Light Skin Perfecting Makeup SPF 15

05/15/2011: Vitalumiere Aqua has many redeeming qualities that I can not take away from it and I can see why so many are smitten with this foundation. It provides a very natural and radiant finish; it smells absolutely lovely and is a joy to put on every morning and the packaging is easy for any girl on the go. Also, it is extremely easy to apply and it is pretty much goof proof... just make sure …Read more

Lipstick - REVLON - Matte Lipstick in Sky Pink

3.0

Unfortunately this one was a flop for me. It shows every single crease, line and dry spot on my lips and is not flattering at all. I was trying to find something in the same vein as the Lady Gaga Viva Glam lipstick, but the quality of this one is horrible. Unlike most lipstick's from the Revlon Matte line, this one is not creamy at all, instead it is very pasty and drying.

Lipstick - REVLON - Super Lustrous Lipstick - Softsilver Rose

I am surprised at all the bad reviews. I am usually a lipgloss kind of girl, but I recently decided to venture into lipstick. For me, lipstick is a scary territory because I feel like many drugstore colors make me look like a clown, smell funky and are drying. You can't try drugstore lipsticks on, so you don't know what you are getting.... and I don't always feel like spending $30+ …Read more

Hair Color - Clairol - Nice 'n Easy Perfect 10

4.0

Apr/11/2011

In my experience, most home hair colors are either too ashy or turn brassy after a while... but not this one! Number 8 is my go-to haircolor. It is not too blonde, nor too dark and does no fade. I even had trouble with fading/brassiness after professional hair coloring, and this stuff holds up way better (plus it saves me so much time and money) !

I don't use the comb thingy …

Polishes - L'Oreal Paris - Resist & Shine

I love this line of polishes! It totally kicks l'oréal's pro manicure to the sidelines.
The brush and wear is amazing and the shades are nice and rich. However, they are all in the red/pink hues so overall very safe.
The price is high (almost 11$ Canadian) but I always grab a bunch when they go on sale.
