I have been using this sunscreen for a while now, and I've decided it is one of my favorites. I have tried (just to name a few): Eucerin (didn't like the scent and found it drying), EltaMD spf 45 (similar to the Olay but much harder to find and much more expensive), Clarins UV Plus, Shiseido spf 55 lotion, just about every Neutrogena sunscreen, and a bevy of high-PPD Euro choices from …Read more

Wow, I hate to be the sole voice of dissent, but I don't like this at all. It's a very average linear, synthetic and masculine woody fragrance to me. I don't get any citrus to speak of. As with all perfumes I dislike, the lasting power is excellent. ;-) I spilled nearly my entire sample vial on the floor of my office, and now I'm surrounded by fumes that are making me queasy …Read more

Oh dear. I really wanted to like this. It's not awful, but it's just not very good, completely missing the sophistication and soulful, meditative quality of a true sandalwood fragrance like Tam Dao. This instead smacks of drugstore cheapness; in fact, the drydown strongly reminds me of Love's Baby Soft. Yikes.

This is wonderful, and one of the two best fragrances I've come across in my search for my HG sandalwood (the other being Tam Dao, which is quite similar to my nose). Soft and subtle, not overtly masculine or feminine, with a sprinkling of warm spices that makes it perfect for the fall and winter. The only flaw is that, as with TD, the lasting power is terrible, which is why I took off a …Read more

On me, pine needles for the first few seconds, then a very generic, dry, woody men's cologne sort of scent. I get no rum accord or anything else interesting. Disappointing.

I have a funny relationship with Pearl. I like it very much, but I have a few major reservations. First of all, contrary to what others have said, the EDT has exactly NO lasting power on me. The oil doesn't have great lasting power, but it's better. I also think the oil packaging is vastly more elegant than that of the EDT, and that's somewhat important to me. So, I prefer the oil …Read more

Unpleasantly strong tuberose. In other words, Fracas. I am definitely not a tuberose fan, so keep that in mind, but I was expecting a more interesting and complex fragrance from FM- which I guess is silly since I have yet to really like any FM. On me this is Fracas, and needs to be washed off ASAP. EDIT: I should have known it would be almost impossible to scrub off! Hours later, after using …Read more

This is good stuff. A beautiful, refined fragrance. On me there's no fruitiness, just an impossibly gentle and warm leather with the faintest trace of flowers. This is quite feminine in its delicacy, imo, even though the flowers are extremely subtle. It's EXACTLY like its name ("white suede"). My only problem is that (as with Pearl, for me) it's TOO gentle: I sniffed my …Read more

I agree with most others- this is a delicious, sweet but not cloying, tropical floral scent with a definite "suntan oil accord". Even though I get hints of chocolate and anise- not usually my favorite notes- it's so well-blended and subtle, I still really like it. This isn't quite the crack in perfume form that Monyette is, for me, but it's my favorite SL so far.

My daughter has very dry skin in the winter with keratosis pilaris (bumps), so in addition to my epic hunt for the best moisturizer for my face, I have been looking for something for her. We started using TriCeram about a year ago with mostly good results. It doesn't eradicate the dryness and bumps, but it helps and is definitely more effective than Eucerin Cream or the other heavy creams …Read more
