The cream has a nice honey scent and moisturizes reasonably well without being greasy or too slippery. I noticed that my local CVS had a number of samples of this lotion (as well as the dark cacao one) hidden away on one of the shelves so I would definately recommend trying it out before purchasing to make sure you like the scent and moisturizing properties.
I own two of these lip butters (Shea Butter and Passion Fruit) and I find that they are decent as a night treatment if your lips are already in good condition, but I wouldn't recommend them if you need intensive moisturizing or are looking for a solution to chapped lips. This is one of the worst lip balms I have ever tried. It has a gritty texture, is horribly sticky and I'm pretty sure it only exacerbated any dryness I had. I would recommend the L'occitane "ultra-rich" lip balm, which is much much smoother and leaves your lips supple and soft.
I love the way this product gives a "popsicle red" tint to your lips and has a nice candy like scent, but I found it dried out my lips (not terribly but still enough so that it was noticible) and the color didn't last very long. I really love the shade, but wish the product did a bit more moisturizing and had staying power.
I got this product at a local discount store and I totally love it. I got a sample of this product and tried it after running out of Clinique moisturizer. I don't tend to have reddish or easily irritated skin so I can't comment on whether this works in regards to those claims but I did really like the almost whipped consistency of the product. Pros: Works reasonably well (reduced the size of a stubborn blemish I've had for over two months, but did not totally eliminate it), a small amount of product is enough to make a difference, results visible after one overnight application,
Cons: Horrible scent (it smells the way Good & Plenty licorice candy tastes)
This is the lip balm I am currently using and I must say I like it a lot. It has SPF, it isn't sticky, the packaging is sophisticated yet unique and it provides a tingling feeling on your lips and leaves your breath fresh. It seems that everyone has this lip balm. I like the consistency which is waxy, instead of sticky and the scent is fresh and minty. I wish it had SPF and it's for that reason that I choose the C.O. Bigelow Mentha Lip Balm Stick over this one.
Although I use to like this scent quite a bit, I now find it to be a little too sweet. The cream is very moisturizing, but I found it to be a little greasy and the smell lasts for quite a while. It is a musky, warm scent nice for use in the winter but I wouldn't purchase this product again because the smell of it is starting to give me a headache.
