Treatments (Face) - La Roche-Posay - Hydraphase Intense Serum Gel Concentrate

After realizing belatedly that my facial skin is crying out desperately for intense hydration through lots of trial and error from the beginning of this year (Wouldn't it be nice if our skin can just talk and tell us what it wants? Something like: "Don't put this on me!" or "I need that right now!"), I ran to the pharmacy and went "Hydraphase crazy". In one …Read more

Skincare - Face - La Roche-Posay - Thermal Spring Water

I think this product compliments other La Roche Posay skincare products beautifully. For example: After using Hydraphase Intense Mask, I spray this liberally before I massage the residue in; After putting a thick layer of Cicaplast B5 on my skin, I spray this liberally before patting it "into" my skin; After taking my makeup off with Toleraine dermo-cleanser, I spray this liberally …Read more

Cleansers - La Roche-Posay - Toleriane Purifying Foaming Cream Cleanser

When I bought this cleanser, I was in a part of the world where La Roche Posay only offers two different kinds of cleansers in the Toleraine line: dermo-cleanser and purifying foaming cream. I would have gotten the foaming gel instead if it were available, as I believe that my skin is more on the dry/dehydrated side.

I always use Muji beating net to lather up my cleanser before I put …

Cleansers - La Roche-Posay - Mela-D Deep Cleansing Brightening Foaming Cream

May/13/2015

Edit: I just realized while I was doing researchs on all La Roche Posay cleansers that this cleanser has an identical ingredient list to that of "Effaclar Deep Cleansing Foaming Cream", namely, they simply add perfume and salicylic acid to the ingredient list of "Toleraine Purifying Foaming Cream". Interestingly though, the "Effaclar" cleanser gets a much higher …Read more

For the better part of 2013 and 2014, I had a very simple and effective skincare routine which consists of this 3-in-1 cleanser as the facial scrub. I couldn't be happier with the product at the time, as most previous reviewers have stated, the product is creamy, smells nice, and it somehow achieves this rare balance where it actually helps deep-cleanse your facial skin properly without …Read more

Scrubs - Avene - Gentle Exfoliating Scrub

I either heard it or read it somewhere once that people who love La Roche Posay products usually hate Avene products and vice versa. And after buying this facial scrub, I have to admit that there must be some truth in that statement, no matter how ridiculous it initially sounds.

It quite literally broke me out every single time I use it, just like some previous reviewers mentioned in …

Conditioner - LUSH - American Cream

I really adore the scent of this product. The way we perceive each scent is so subjective and individual that it would be hard to describe exactly why it appeals to me. It's a calming scent to me, serene and lovely, and it actually lingers for quite a few days, even if you wash your hair without using this conditioner in between.

I have very fine straight hair that I do not dye or …

Alright, there's no other way to put it, I simply dislike this product. I find the scent unpleasant and the product too aggressive and drying. I forced myself to use it up but I will never use it again, not even if it's a free gift.

Treatments (Face) - La Roche-Posay - CICAPLAST BAUME B5 - Multi-Purpose/Soothing Repairing Balm

Dec/27/2014

Edit: It's the middle of May now. God, I am so in love with this product that I would marry it in a heartbeat. It literally cures EVERYTHING. They didn't lie when they claim that it's a multi purpose product. It works from head to toe, and addresses every skin issue I have experienced. It gives my complexion such a healthy glow with so low a price. If only I had had it all my …Read more

I love how short the ingredient list is, and I love the fact that there's no mineral oil in it. Most makeup removers from brands like Vichy, Avene, LRP...etc. contain high amount of mineral oil, while the jury is still out as to whether mineral oil is harmful to human skin or not, I personally prefer not to use any products with mineral oil in it. (A lot of moisturizers from LRP also …Read more
