If you and I have similar coloring and you're looking for a neutral "not another sheer ivory" polish that pretty much matches your skin then look no further than Diva in Brown. This is a pretty pink-brown creme that is very similar to my skin tone (warm-neutral, NC30-35) but a bit more pink. Fabulously smooth formula, barely any show of wear after four days and almost a steal at …Read more

Polishes - SinfulColors - Whats Your Name

Really a 2.5. I really would have liked to give this polish a higher rating. The color is hot - a black creme base with pale aqua micro-glitter that doesn't get lost in the base and you don't need a good dose of sunshine to see. Unfortunately, with a goopy formula, which didn't really bother me too much and lengthy drying time, which really bothered me - I applied it three to …Read more

Though I think the deep inky green shade of this nail polish is gorgeous, and the rose themed bottle design is sweet and the rose scent is somewhat pleasant, I wouldn't buy it again. Yes, the glossy creaminess is fabulous (I'm a sucker for glossy cremes) but the drying time was longer than to be desired. I can usually apply a quick dry topcoat like Seche Vite over somewhat …Read more

Polishes - SinfulColors - Gorgeous

Perhaps a little too much information, but I have to admit that I bought this polish mainly for the name - "Gorgeous" is my nickname for my husband and I thought I had to have it. Gorgeous is a medium aqua-green with a soft metallic finish. On my warm-neutral toned toes, it looks more green than the bottle shade - actually, it reminds me of the green on a Mountain Dew can (maybe a …Read more

Polishes - OPI - Los Cabos Coral

A nice soft coral polish. It does have shimmer but it is so subtle that it looks more like a creme with a soft sheen. This really is a beautiful coral - not too orange, not too pink, just a lovely, lovely spring coral-peachy-pink that I love on my toes. Los Cabos Coral is from the Spring 2006 Mexico collection.

Love, love, love, love, LOVE! Part of the Summer 2007 Candy collection, Yummy is a creamy bright cerulean blue - a beautiful, perfect summer sky blue. I've had it on my toes for four days and the glossy finish is just as it was since day one. Yummy went on smooth - no streaks, no goops - and was beautifully opaque in two coats. My only wish was that Michigan had some decent warm weather …Read more

A beautiful glimmery and glowy medium-deep bright pink that sometimes flashes cool, sometimes warm tones. It's a lovely both on tips and toes, but I prefer keeping shades as bright as these for pedicures. Didgeridoo Your Nails is part of the Spring 2007 Australian collection.

Polishes - OPI - Nail Lacquer - Mod About You

A decidedly chic opaque pale, pale pink creme that looked so fresh on my toes! I was worried my toes would look like pieces of Chiclets gum, but this was fabulous shade against my warm-neutral skin. And topping this polish off with a high-shine topcoat (my choice - Seche Vite) gave it that mod vinyl look. Mod About You is part of the 2006 Brighter by the Dozen Brights collection.

Everything about this polish is A+ for me: the vampy blackened wine shade, the chic square glass bottle, the easy-to-hold rubberized cap, the smooth going new formula that didn't show any wear after three days on my nails (the usual length of time before I feel the need for a change). At just under $6, it's a tad pricey for a drugstore polish, but in my opinion, well worth it.
