I have arthritis mostly in wrists and knees and this oil definitely lessens the pain. It is a blend of oils with about 15 different organic oils in it and nothing else added. I work in a salon in London that stocks this brand and since we introduced this product we have kept a spare tester bottle out in the waiting area and we are asking our customers to try it on problem areas just a few drops …Read more

Ive been using Vaseline for so many years that I lost count, since back when the Vaseline brand was just the tub of petroleum jelly and the only product by this brand. Now there's so many moisturizers and lip products I cant keep up. First of all it is very cost effective and I can use it for so many different things such as dry patches on my face or body which can appear at any time.I dont …Read more

If you suffer from 'hair loss' & want thickening this is one of the best products you can use - but I have to tell you it might not be to everyone's liking. Let me explain how and why...

...I used to work in a London (UK) salon that stocked Divine herbal products and whilst i was there - 3 years in total we sold quite a lot of the hair oil, mostly by giving out …

Lotions/ Creams - Tend Skin - Tend Skin Solution

A real life saver for ingrown hair problems. I first came across this when a customer suggested it to me for my ingrowing hairs which I had just mentioned as an off the cuff remark (I work in a salon). I believe it is an American company but in recent years I have seen it more and more commonly sold in the UK. It is a bit on the expensive side but I can get about 4 months of use out of the large …Read more

Fragrances - Unlisted Brand - Shay & Blue - Watermelons

2.0

Sep/22/2018

I figured this would be an authentic watermelon but the other notes, especially vertiver completely overpower everything else. Yes you can detect some watermelon but it is just a fleeting glimpse of it before all the 'green' elements of this fragrance overtake it. The only other Shay & Blue fragrance I've tried is 'Salted Caramel' which was slightly better but again …Read more

Fragrances - Demeter - Pistachio Ice Cream Pick-Me-Up Cologne Spray

3.0
Created with Sketch.

Sep/22/2018

I was hoping this would be a substitute for Laura Mercier's discontinued 'Creme de Pistache' but it is nothing like it. It has an odd note mixed in with the ice cream and pistachios which throws off the whole thing. I can't place it exactly but it's something 'green' that doesn't belong in this. I will keep trying out other brands as these days more and …Read more

Lotions/ Creams - The Body Shop - Satsuma Body Lotion

4.0

Jun/26/2011

The perfect body moisturiser for a hot summer's day. I admit it is not very moisturising so those with dry skin may want to skip this. But on a sticky day, the uplifting fragrance of satsuma's lifts your spirits and refreshes you. The scent is quite strong so bear in mind you won't be able to wear another fragrance with this (they will clash) but I always get a lot of compliments …Read more

Lotions/ Creams - Laura Mercier - Creme de Pistache Souffle

Very expensive and admittedly I am having to save up for a full size now that my sample has run out! But so worth it. On me this smells like a sweet pistachio biscuit. You can detect the salt even, the flour and of course the pistachio. Lasts quite a while too which is saying something for a body cream. Very yummy and one which others will notice you have got on too! Both men and women equally …Read more

Lotions/ Creams - L'Occitane - Honey & Lemon Delightful Cream

I love this, along with the Shower Gel and have stocked up now that they have been discontinued. I admit its not everyones cup of tea, people have likened the smell of this to fart gas!! I cannot imagine how this smells even remotely like that but things smell different to each person I guess. I love the smell. Its very long lasting too. Very sweet and totally unique. I would maybe just use on …Read more

Treatments (Face) - Paula's Choice - Skin Perfecting 8% AHA (Glycolic Acid) Gel Exfoliator

Love this! My HG spot treatment, I apply a small amount to each pimple and within half an hour, just before applying my moisturiser hey presto the pimple has shrunk to half its previous size or less! It then works throughout the day/night to bring to a head any remaining pimples. I cannot use all over as oddly enough that causes more pimples to form as do Glycolic peels for me. The packaging is …Read more
