Lotions/ Creams - Sanctuary Spa Covent Garden - Body Lotion

This is quite a treat!

I'd never looked at or considered Boots Sanctuary line. The packaging appears to be aiming itself at the... errrr... more mature lady! So when I got a Sanctuary giftset in my secret santa gift (EXCELLENT call!), I was excited to have a few new toys to play with...

The bath foam was blah, the scrub was meh... This lotion.... Well!...

I …

Conditioner - PANTENE - ICE SHINE

Gonna go against the grain here; I love this shampoo/conditioner combo!

I have long hair that doesn't like being slept on (gets greasy and unmanageable) so I wash daily.

I have quite fine, natural coloured, long hair, so weight is something I like to avoid.

This shampoo foams up great, cleans well, smells lovely. And the conditioner conditions! …

Cleansers - Boots - No 7 Radiance Boosting Hot Cloth Cleanser

So this was my first attempt at finding a Liz Earle dupe. I love Liz, but that woman's expensive! £25 for 200ml; this was £5 for 200ml with No°7 voucher. Those figures speak for themselves.

I'm no ingredient buff, but I did check this one out - cocoa butter, a vegetable oil derivative and olive derivative. No essential oils like lovely Liz has, but for the price I'm …

Hair Treatments - L'Oreal Paris - Extraordinary Oil Treatment

This is just a whole lot of "meh"

I'm a gold cap user. I've had this bottle for 15 months. No, it's not ever-giving I just go through phases of digging it out, trying again, and putting it back.

Let's go top to bottom with this one:

Aesthetically, nice packaging. The glass bottle can only be bumping up the price though. The pump …

Gels/ Soaps - LUSH - Snow Fairy Shower Gel

5.0
Created with Sketch.

Jan/12/2014

Notice how every review about this starts with reference to the smell of this shower gel? Well kids, that's because this product is ALL about the fragrance! It's akin to sugar and bubblegum, and smells like Lush's Rock Star soap and Snow Fairy Bubble wand.

If you open it up, take a whiff and are unimpressed, put it down, back away, maybe leave the store.

I …

Lotions/ Creams - The Body Shop - Vanilla Bliss Body Butter

5.0
Created with Sketch.

Jan/11/2014

I wish they sold this all year round.

This body butter is far denser and more buttery than the other Body Shops butters, and as such is the most moisturising one of the bunch I've tried (coconut, olive, and strawberry). It just leaves your skin wonderfully soft.

The smell... Hmmm... Lovely but not traditional sweet vanilla. It's deeper and richer than that. Maybe …

Hair Treatments - Moroccanoil - Moroccan Oil Treatment

I'm on bottle number 3 or 4, so suffice to say I feel more than blasé about this product. This is my HG. It's my hair food. It's amazing.

You must be careful if you have light hair - MO do an oil for blondes called MO Light, but as a "caramel 'ed" (as the other half says) I've never had the pleasure.

This product doesn't just …

Lotions/ Creams - Palmer's - Cocoa Butter Formula Moisturizing Body Oil

5.0
Created with Sketch.

Jan/11/2014

This is a genius product. Palmers do such good moisturisers, and this oil is just up there!

It's not got much of a scent to it (unlike the lotions which smell insanely delicious) so I would say this is a boy-friendly product.

It is an oil, so no getting round the fact it's oily, but it does skin into your skin so much better than, say, baby oil. It leaves your …

Masks - Palmer's - Purifying Mask with Green Clay and Sweet Almond Oil

5.0

Jan/11/2014

I love this mask. It costs like £5, is big enough to last months even with weekly use, and just does what it says.

I'm greasy and sensitive and full of allergies (no asthma though! #win) so I need to be careful with my face, coz I'll either break out (bah!) have a reaction (much bigger bah!) or I'll be cracking out the antihistamines coz I'll be sneezing so …
