Sunscreen - Elizabeth Arden - Eight Hour Cream Targeted Sun Defense Stick SPF 50 Sunscreen PA+++

This is a very decent sun stick containing chemical filters, therefore it doesn’t leave a white cast whatsoever. I use this strictly for my eye area, as it doesn’t migrate into my eyes at all.

It leaves a very slight film when first applied, but I guess that’s how the water/sweat resistant claim is ensured, but once it dries (as you should wait for your sunscreen to absorb anyways) …

Treatments (Face) - Kiehl's - Hydro-Plumping Re-Texturizing Serum Concentrate

It’s very overpriced glycerin for sure, and contains way too much silicone for my usual preference, but what can i say, it works as a simple hydrator for my dry skin!

It’s not sticky at all (one of my biggest worries), i didn’t find it leaves a film like other reviewers mentioned, maybe because I always place this serum in the middle of my routine (so after toner or other …

Foundations - Yves Saint Laurent - Fusion Ink Cushion Foundation

Feb/01/2017

I paid € 46,42 for this cushion foundation with a 25% discount, which means the original price of this product is € 61,90. That's a bit ridiculous, considering the product is only 12 grams and doesn't come with a refill. I've since checked on Selfridges (which delivers to EU countries with DHL without import taxes), and the price there is €44 for the new compact and €34 for the …Read more

Sunscreen - Kiehl's - Ultra Light Daily UV Defense SPF 50 PA+++

I wanted to give this a 3 star, but considering that I've been comparing it to Japanese sunscreen standards, it is a 4 among the offers in European / American markets.

First of all, it is not only SPF50, but also PA+++, which is far more important in my books than only protecting from sunburning UVBs. I'm less likely to trust a sunscreen that only says broad spectrum on the …

Blush - Tarte Cosmetics - Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Blush - Exposed

I have mixed feeling about this blush, but overall I enjoy it. I heard about this blush being a perfect nude color for almost any makeup look, and I was particularly intrigued when a youtuber mentioned that this is a perfect blush to pair with a red lip. While I agree with that, and do like this blush a lot in terms of formula and longevity, I feel the color is a bit different than what I …Read more

First of all, let me start by saying that I do not understand when people claim this is too expensive: I recently got it for €36.50 from Selfridges and it is a whopping 30 grams. From what I've seen on YouTube, I thought this would cost a fortune. But considering the quantity and the fact it is Chanel makeup, I would say it is VERY reasonably priced.
I have NC20-25 Asian skin tone, in …

Blush - Burberry - Light Glow (blush) in n. 2 (Cameo)

Jan/13/2017

This Burberry blush is probably my favorite blush formula in terms of: powder quality (velvety, soft and finely milled without having the powder kick off), pigmentation (relatively pigmented but so blendable, still has a sheer and buildable quality despite the pigmentation, can use any brush with and don't have to be too careful with it either), as well as finish (it's not matte/flat …Read more

I've only used Japanese drugstore brands when it comes to liquid liners. I was tired of ordering them from Asian shopping sites and getting taxed, so I wanted to try decent western ones. I had considered the Stila one (have to order from U.K.) and Kat Von D tattoo liner (have to order from US), but I thought I wanted to try what seems to be the "best of the best", from locally …Read more

I've heard of some people who have used it continuously for ten years or more recommend it. And indeed, those women look pretty good. It's such a classic that has been talked about for years and years, so naturally when I started implementing anti-aging products into my routine when I turned 25, this was immediately on my list.

Truthfully, I was not impressed by the texture …

Treatments (Face) - Sunday Riley - Good Genes

Is it weird to say I absolutely enjoy the process of using this, even if i absolutely loathe the scent? Good Gene smells like sour rotten milk and the scent kind of lingers on your face. What can we say, it after all contains lactic acid and is very effective at exfoliating my skin without ever drying it out or burning it, so i guess i am happy to endure the horrible smell. It does sting a little …Read more
