This stuff works well with my type 2b hair--it supports my waves and provides good hold but doesn't feel crunchy. The scent is strong and fruity, but does dissipate. It's a little drying, so I make sure to put in the OI oil I normally use before putting in the gel and scrunching. I try to use as little as I can get away with, and I spray it in my hands to apply, instead of spraying it …Read more
I was given this lipstick in No. 23, Geisha--a beautiful true red. I love it. It goes on with a smooth texture and doesn't dry out my lips. The lipstick itself wears off subtly (no flaking) and leaves a lovely even stain behind. Great quality and worth the (admittedly fairly high) price.
My eyelashes are fairly sparse and tragic looking, so every couple of years I buy mascara, hoping to find one that won't be a smear under my eyes by the end of the day, or clump and make it look like I have three eyelashes. This is a lot harder than you'd think--I've tried cheap mascaras, expensive ones, and everything in between, and most are very disappointing. However, this one …Read more

I liked the way this smelled in the bottle and sprayed on a tester strip, but it does not work with my skin chemistry. The slight hint of maple disappeared and was replaced with Perry Ellis 360! Normally I love Atelier scents, but there are a couple that smell awful on me and a couple that are just meh. This is one of the meh ones, verging on unpleasant on my skin.

I'm on my second bottle of this Holy Grail conditioner. It is -cone free and protein free, and it leaves my dry, frizzy hair shiny, soft, and smooth. No suspicious ingredients as far as I can tell, and not tested on animals. Great slip and nice scent. And it's only $6 CAD and available at London Drugs in Canada. I tried it on a whim one day because it was on sale and was protein …Read more

The only negative to this stuff (other than price, but I bought it on sale) is the overpoweringly strong perfumey scent. Whoa Nellie, this stuff is STRONG. And it's not a scent I enjoy anyway--it smells kind of like a floral scented candle from Bath and Body Works. But it works like a hot damn on my dry hair. I used it, rinsed most of it out and let it air dry, and it dried into lovely waves …Read more
I have this in Berry and I really like it as an SPF lip balm. The colour is a sheer plum, the flavour is mildly sweet but not perfumey, and it keeps my lips from getting burned if I reapply. I will repurchase. I'm hoping it doesn't get discontinued because it's the only tinted lip product with SPF I'm able to get in Canada.
I first used this at my parents' place because I hadn't brought any sunscreen with me. I think they bought it because it was a good price, but they (and I) have kept buying it because the texture is better than any other sunscreen I've tried (except some I've bought while travelling that aren't available where I live).
The best thing about this sunscreen is …Read more
Although I admire Green Beaver's commitment to the environment and to safe products, this conditioner did not do it for me. I was looking for something moisturizing for my dry hair, and this was not moisturizing enough, no matter how much I put on. Despite all the oils listed in the ingredients, it was not particularly emollient--I think it would be okay as a conditioner for normal hair. But …Read more
