Let me start out saying that I am a fan of Ole's products. I have a bunch of his stuff in my medicine cabinet that I use on a daily basis. I bought these on my birthday in Sephora. I was going to get the citrus wipes which I've had before and love. They are great to just running over your face in the morning before you put on your cremes, etc. But these, pretty disappointing. If I do …Read more
Sitting here in front of Mac waiting for my pain meds to kick in. So, a quick review on TheBalm TimeBalm Foundation. I wanted to try this for awhile, was in Kohl's looking around, and of course wound up in the makeup department. (Kinda tiny and very bad lighting) Ah, who the hell am I kidding? I went in to look at TheBalm and Cargo. Kohl's is kinda boring, really. So I bought this …Read more
I've been wanting to try this product for awhile. So, on my birthday, into Sephora I go! (After, I hit the wine store, of course!) I love most of Ole's products. The Apricot Cleansing Lotion and Balancing Cucumber Face Mist are my go-to's. This is kinda of meh, 'ya know? I gave up trying to rinse it off. Instead I do the hot water and wash cloth thing. This is my first experience with micellar water. I came across this brand at Marshall's recently. Good Things Acai Berry Multi-Tasking Micellar Water. It's great and inexpensive. It's geared toward adolescent skin but it works for me. (And I'm 61.) I do intend to try Bioderma this year but haven't gotten around to sending for it.
Let me start off with telling you guys that Im pretty impressed with NYX. Lipsticks, eyebrow magic marker thingy are awesome. This blush...not so much. Of course, I'm old and pale, so there's that. Might try one of the cream blushes, because I can't stop buying makeup! For the love of god, somebody stop me!
I think this would have been a great foundation for me in my 20's or 30's. My skin used to be super oily. I used to dread the warm weather because it would make my problem worse. Anyway, I've had a tube of this for a few years now. I do like the coverage. Easy to work with. Used to put it on in the car before I ran into Target when I worked there. Still use it occasionally. My skin …Read more
Its been awhile since I posted a review, but here goes. First of all, I love lipstick! i buy at least a couple of tubes a month. ( My favorite brands are Px, Tarte, Lipstick Queen.) Ive been trying lighter shades than I usually wear, so I buy cheaper. Bought this shade and I really like it. I think it was $6.00 at Giant Eagle. Good quality for any amount of money. Will buy a few more. (Not like I …Read more
