I got it kind of on a whim, thinking that even if it wasn't useful as a foundation I could use it as a primer. When I tried it I was actually blown away by how much I liked it. I have trouble with both oil in my t-zone (and everywhere, really) after a few hours /and/ awful flaky skin around there that makes wearing foundation on my forehead really troublesome, but this manages to get around …Read more

First of all I love that the shade is right for me- I wouldn't call the shade range the most extensive out there, but the fact that there is such a pale, pink-toned shade is great for me. When used heavily it shows up on me, but with normal, light application it's effectively transparent. The texture is very soft and finely milled, and it doesn't feel cakey even when applied …Read more

A matte deep teal. Not unique necessarily but a very nice colour with a smooth texture. I found this one to have some issues with fallout, patchiness and a tendency to sheer right out when blending, which disappointed me at first, but over a base it performs much better. Soft enough to have fallout when picking it up from the pan, however, so be careful. Over a base (strongly recommended) …Read more

A blurple (more blue than the average blue based purple, imo) with some shimmer, though it's pretty understated. Plenty of pigment and it went on smoothly, if not totally perfectly. As with the others I've tried, great for the price, with minimal issues. Blends well. Not what I would call a unique colour, but a solid one.

A matte, muted mauve/violet colour, definitely a pink-purple (or...a very purple pink, perhaps). I found that it was stronger than it first seemed when used on the eye, especially over a base. Blends well, with no real issues- no patchiness or fallout to any noticeable degree. A solid quality shadow, nothing to be blown away by, but very good nonetheless, especially for the price, and the colour …Read more

This is a teal shadow with a slight shimmer and a green cast over the base colour. By itself, it shows up well on the eye, and is quite pigmented; it's better over a base. It's blendable but may sheer out a little if you're too heavy handed. The price, for the quality and the amount of product, is great, and the colour is beautiful. When I swatched it next to some other teals, I …Read more

Eye Shadow - Sugarpill Cosmetics - Pressed Shadow - Dollipop

The most pigmented product I've ever used. Seriously. Even more so than the other Sugarpill shadows. It stains brushes and lids a little bit but I think it's a reasonable tradeoff for such intense colour in one stroke. The colour is often described as a hot pink but to me it leans on the cool side, but that doesn't make it any less vibrant. Still perfectly wearable when combined …Read more

I have Tiara (silver), Paperdoll (light violet), Darling (light, mint green) and Birthday Girl (light pink); I was also sent a sample of Goldilux with my order, but I haven't tested it yet. The packaging is cute, both the jars and the little boxes they come in, and the extras (the sample, a Sugarpill sticker and a business card, plus a little thank you note from Amy) are a really nice …Read more

Blush - Lily Lolo - Mineral Blush - Candy Girl

Lily Lolo's packaging is sturdy enough and it looks decent, but it's far from luxe- not that I'm really complaining at the price. It's also not the most convenient- the pot is small, with the lid being too small to get a brush into easily, and the sifter is not the best mechanism I've ever seen. All that said, the product inside is much better. It's quite pigmented …Read more

I tend to gravitate to pinks when I look for lip products, but I do love the occasional red- it's my confidence colour! That said, I have very pale skin, cool undertones, dark hair- orange reds are out. Sangers is cool enough to be very wearable for me even in its intensity; it reads neutral on me. It's very pigmented so even a light amount gives a bold colour, but I don't feel it …Read more
