Quite a wet formula although in one swipe you get a lot of volume so it can tend to get clumpy if more than 2 coats. Definitely a lot of volume but you may need to use a base to separate out the lashes in the beginning, and then in between each hypnose swipe, use a lash comb to wipe off the excess or unclump. Perhaps after a few uses the formula will dry out and not be so clumpy. However because …Read more
Colourless base which is great for holding a curl on its own. ANd it lasts all day long. However this seemed to be the new formula which doesn't seem to volumising as much as it used to with the old formula. Its still a good base for other mascaras which can hold a curl.
fantastic colour and it is actually obvious after 2 coats. really obvious!! however the brush is quite huge which seemed typical of Diorshow mascaras or serums. However with practise you can use it effectively. also holds curls well. no clumping and definitely buildable volume
i love all of the colorstay range, this is lovely and they have a vast selection of shade. However i didn't like the pour bottle. would have rather prefered if they put in a pump like the plain colorstay one (the one that didn't have soft flex). however i have used both and really really like it. the one with softflex is probably what i would call medium coverage, would definitely …Read more
Moisturizers - Paula's Choice - Skin Balancing Daily Mattifying Lotion with SPF 15 and Antioxidants [DISCONTINUED]
lovely consistency, and really mattifying. However i took one lippie off because it's only SPF 15, if it was SPF 30 I would repurchase it....as i live in Australia and we have pretty harsh sun over here.
I would only rate this between 3.5 and four lippies,This is GREAT for volumising but not so good in separating, and can tend to clump. and does not hold curl very well on it's own. I would use Shiseido Mascara Base underneath for the curl-holding. Much prefer MAsterpiece Max.
I have this in the colour callled Plastic, Great colour but bleeds like crazy within minutes even with lots of lipliner. will NOT repurchase...even though the colour is very nice.To stop it feathering, i think you might have to put foundation on your lips, powder it, line the inside of the lips with red lipliner and then the clear lipliner outside, finally the colour. this seems to help
I prefer volumising mascara, but the brush means that it is very very effective in separating lashes. As a lengthening mascara it is great!!! but not so good in the volumising department. I say go the Masterpiece Max from Max Factor. It is also easy to remove as well.
