Bought this due to all the great YouTube reviews. I wasn’t blown away by it - okay, but nothing special for mature skin. It had nice coverage but didn’t really blur lines or textured skin. I know that most would say that no foundations do that.
I do have 2 foundations that do actually cover, last well and make my skin also look better than it is. The 2 that are HG status for my old …Read more

My HG foundation is the Koh Gen Do Moisture foundation. When I saw this reformulated with more coverage I was super excited to try it.
Let me start by saying, I have mature, dry skin.
I’ve tried this multiple ways with different primers and no primer - alway moisturize well underneath. I even tried to mix some in with the Moisture foundation. No matter what I did, it left my …Read more
I wasn’t expecting this to be a super star foundation, but it performs very well for my mature, dry skin.
It goes on liquidy and sets fairly quickly. I applied with a brush and then dabbed on some more with a sponge in some problem areas. The coverage is really great - a good medium. The finish is radiant with some glow but not overly so. I love that it kind of floated over my pores and …Read more

I love the Koh Gen Do products and wanted to try this powder. As the other reviewer said, it’s crazy expensive. Normally I wear color 002 but it was not available in this powder so I went one up to 013. It actually is a decent match.
I have mature skin and I know that powder is usually the enemy for drier, more textured skin. However, I like to do a quick buff in of powder when I’m in …Read more

Let me start by saying, I have mature, dry skin and NW 15-20 in coloring.
My first impressions:
I bought this in Cool Sand and it’s a great match. I applied the stick foundation on my skin and then buffed with a flat foundation brush. It spread easily and had really good coverage. I don’t find that it accentuated pores or wrinkles but didn’t diffuse them any either. It did …Read more

My Holy Grail for my 60 plus and sensitive skin. I'm a fan of more radiant and moisture providing foundations. I do usually have to powder my nose during the day as it tends to show shine fairly quickly if I don't. My coloring is NW15-20.
My other favorite foundation is Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk in 4.75. For a great tinted moisturizer, I also like NARS in Finland …Read more

Let me start by saying that I have 60 plus year old dry skin with flakiness around my eyes. When winter hits in New England, my skin gets even more dry.
I have tried so many creams and lotions for my face and body that I've lost count - from the drug store Vanicream (which is another favorite) to the high end LaMer. I think with this balm, I've found my holy grail. I use …Read more
I purchased this based on the great reviews both on Makeupalley and Nordstrom. I did get it for 20% discount with the GA sale.
I find it as an average powder but nothing special. The packaging is huge and will never make it into my small crossbody purse. It is anything but compact.
For me, it does an okay job finishing after the GA luminous silk foundation. I don’t find a …Read more
