Really wanted to like this, but alas, didn't work for me. On the plus side, it goes on smoothly and really pigmented. However, I didn't find the applicator very easy or comfortable to use. The worst part was the flaking midday and then, as has been mentioned below, when removing. I've never seen anything like it with a liquid eye liner. When removing it, it flakes then sticks …Read more
Absolutely did not work for me in the least as a base coat. No matter what nail polish brand I'd use with it, it would peel off in sheets within a day. It's about $8 full price, which I unfortunately paid. The opaque, bulky packaging is simply not smart. Probably a little more than half way through the bottle (can't really tell because opaque), the product becomes thick and stringy …Read more
Disappointed with how clumpy this was. Despite the claim that the tube would wipe away excess product from the brush, I didn't find this to be the case. The brush would come out with way too much mascara. Sure, you can wipe away the excess with tissue, but over time, that's just a waste. I used it for two weeks hoping to make it work, but ultimately, it wasn't worth it.
Tossed it after three uses when my lashes kept falling after each use. I did like the brush and the length it gave, but seriously, why keep using a mascara that makes your lashes fall off? Kind of defeats the purpose, L'Oreal. The regular non-waterproof Voluminous works well, so I'll stick to that.
I bought the preview candle jar for $5 and was hooked, so I had to buy the mini body spray and then the body cream. I'm actually using this scent for fall because, although sweet, there's something rich and deep here that would've been too overwhelming in the hot months. Living in New England meant that I didn't have to wait long for the temperatures to go down and for me to …Read more
I'm frustrated with this tc.
First the good news: I was able to get this for $2 at a beauty supply store. They only had the one bottle left and when I asked the SA how much she'd sell it to me for, she said $2. Cool.
Also, this is a really shiny finish, very lovely.
Now my frustration: Like others have said, if you put this on while the color is wet …Read more
I like that it lengthened and defined my already long lashes without adding bulk. Adding extra coats can be tricky, since it's best to do it while it's still wet. Adding coats after it's dry can lead to unsightly clumps.
It already comes with a chemically-type odor when new, so it would probably be hard to tell when/if it turns.
I'm almost to the end of …Read more
Got this at Marshall's for $19.99. It's a soft, pleasant smell, nothing like the original Obsession. In fact, this is so soft on me, I wouldn't wear it exclusively for nights, if at all. I enjoy wearing this to work. My only gripe is that it doesn't seem to last very long on me.
I wanted to try this based on Nail Board raves, so I swapped for it. Before this I was using Poshe as my topcoat. I think I like Oh So Wet! better despite the fact that it's not as shiny as Poshe. Mainly because it dries faster and, combined with Essie First Base Basecoat, it barely ever chips. I have noticed some bubbling, but not all the time and only on some nails. I think I need to do a …Read more
