I'm going to compare the Dior Backstage Face and Body with the Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk foundation in this review, mostly because the GA LS is my HG in terms of its finish and how well it photographs, but also because I feel like the hype around the Dior Face and Body being very 'skin-like' puts it in the same class of foundations as the GA LS (which looks almost hyper-real on …Read more

I'm in love, y'all.

Before I start my review: my shade match is in Light Medium, which despite looking slightly pinker than the Nars Radiant Creamy in Custard on my hands, didn't really look any different from it on my face. I have combination to dry skin, with my undereye area fluctuating between dry and oily depending on the time of year (it's dry right now). I …

Concealers - NARS Cosmetics - Radiant Creamy Concealer

For me, this concealer is allllll about how you apply it. When I first bought it a month ago, I instantly hated it. Whether I used my fingers to tap it in, used a 217 brush to buff it in under my eyes, or used a beauty blender, this would crease on me like mad. My skin type is combination to dry. Basically, what I'm trying to say is that my review may not be helpful if you struggle with any of the problems I don't struggle with (yet).

Things I …

Hair Treatments - Olaplex - Olaplex step 3 (Home treatment)

This is probably one of the best things to happen to me recently. Having said that, I absolutely have to mention right from the beginning that it DID dry out my hair at first, and it did change my wave pattern almost completely. However, I got a moisturising protein treatment done at the same salon I got the No.1 and 2 Olaplex treatments done almost the next day, and the waves and moisture in my …Read more

My love affair with Hoola began at a Sephora store, where a saleslady put loads of it on me as a contour colour. I'm olive-skinned but on the fairer end of things, and I thought it looked too dark on me in the store, so I walked away from it. And then I got back home and just saw my face in the mirror and I saw a face looking back at me that had the most beautiful bone-structure I had ever …Read more
