I LOVE this powder!
I'm NC50 and have used the Ben Nye Banana Powder (too pale) and the Ben Nye Topaz powder (good color match, poor color payoff) for years but was still looking for more. This is that "more". This is real, old-school quality face powder. Very little is needed, not because it's heavy (it's not) but because it's concentrated. It's …Read more
I really enjoyed this oil. It absorbed into my skin well and in the morning I could see a difference. My skin felt softer and appeared healthier. It also seems to work well with my PC serums and treatments. That said, it is quite pricey and quality dupes are readily available. One that comes to mind is the Palmer's Skin Therapy face oil, under $10.00 per ounce.
I really wanted to like this product. The price was right and the colors were gorgeous! Unfortunately, this was a big disappointment. This is one of those products that swatches well on the hand but performs poorly on the face, not because it doesn't show (it does) but because it blends poorly. Basically, it just sits on the skin until you put real effort into smoothing it out and then …Read more
Unfortunately, unlike the original, this product did almost nothing for my normal-combination skin. It absorbed VERY well, but afterwards my skin never felt even the slightest bit moisturized. Oddly enough, after only a few hours (after applying lotion and foundation) it made my face an oil slick. I've used this product 1-2 times a week over several months thinking my skin would get used …Read more

This is a very wet, slow drying mascara that, although waterproof, fades throughout the day and even chips at times. On the plus side, the packaging is cute and the brush design gives good application, helping to effortlessly comb through any lumps.
I so wanted to love, or even like, this foundation because I was looking for something in the drugstore that could take the place of my (old version) Revlon Colorstay. Sadly, this fell far short. Here's why:
Pros: price, beautiful color match
Cons: semi-matte; longevity-- fades noticeably and significantly after about 3 hours under both loose and pressed powder (so …Read more
These cream concealers were really a SURPRISE ! They remind me of my MAC Pro Longwear concealer for both pigmentation and longevity. They go on very smoothly and have worn well under all of my foundations, even the powder ones. I found them in Duane Reade for $16.00. Love them!
For reference: #3 = yellow/gold undertones; very similar to LA Pro Conceal in Fawn and MAC Pro Longwear …Read more
I'll be brief- this did not show up on my NC50 skin. I tried multiple times; still nothing.
Perhaps on a lighter shade it would be great but even so, it's quite overhyped. At the end of the day, it's just another finely milled slightly iridescent powder.
