I purchased StingRaye, Bad Habit, Be-dazzled and Guess.
I have very pigmented lips and am never surprised when colors are a tinge darker but ALL of the colors are at least 2-3 shades darker on my lips. In addition, the formulas are not consistent: StingRaye never dries down and stays slightly wet, Bad Habit dries down almost all the way, but still transfers, Be-dazzled dries down but …Read more
I got this one as a gift in the travel-size and was super excited seeing as to how I wanted to try out the full exposure palette. To begin with, one of the shadows came slightly cracked and kept cracking more each time I opened or shut the palette- but whatevs, I just loosened the excess powder and pressed down the rest.
The packaging is terrible . . . although it's very sleek and …Read more
Most of the colors from this line are frosty, which not a lot of people tend to lean towards, but for a dollar you seriously can't beat this. I won't talk about the creme finishes since everyone knows that they're awesome.
I don't wear frosty or pearl finishes that often, but when I do my favorite from this line is fuschia with blue pearl or light beige frost. I …Read more
It seems that Art4Cara and I are the only ones that seem to have run into the same problem with these balm stains (which I seem to experience with all balm stains), which is that after about twenty minutes, the color turns about three shades darker or red-tinted. The color 'candied coral' turned into a bright red-orange, 'terra crave' and 'honey love' both turned …Read more
EDIT: After letting this mascara dry out for a month or so, I'm finally seeing results! Builds really nicely and makes my lashes gigantic without making them spidery. Guess the formula was actually too wet before. I've come to find that for Maybelline mascaras, I need to let them dry out before getting some good results from them. Downside is that once it starts drying out, it dries out …Read more
*Girl with typically downward pointing, short, sparse, stubbornly short Asian lashes that tend to get pushed down with my small lids.*
A friend had recommended this mascara to me to try, however I was quite disappointed. While it offered some volume, it was not good to layer on coats. As soon as I applied, my thoroughly crimped curl dropped almost immediately. This makes me think that …Read more
Hey, did you guys know that this mascara has a rubber bristled brush? I tend not to do well with rubber bristles, not at all--- rubber bristles are not good for sparse lashes, especially this one which had very few bristles on it to begin with. This gave me nothing to comb through my lashes with.
The rest of this review is going to be similar to the one I gave the L'oreal …Read more
When I first applied this mascara, I could see right away the volume and length that it gave my lashes, which was great. But about thirty seconds later, my eyelashes had drooped down. No biggy, the mascara didn't hold a curl for me to save my life, but my lashes still looked thick and super long. Then . . . about half an hour later, I glanced in the mirror and saw that the entire bottom lid …Read more
The first time I tried this I was really turned off by the smell. Also, it left white streaks in my hair that was really hard to blend it. Initially the product is nice and my hair looks fine, but after a few hours the nice finish goes away and my hair goes back to being oily. I used it maybe two more times before the nozzle completely jammed up and stopped working. Was not too happy with this …Read more
