Polishes - OPI - Nail Lacquer - Yoga-Ta Get This Blue!

One of my favorite OPIs. It's a dark blue that looks blue everywhere, not just under sunlight! It also has beautiful shimmer and it really pops against my skin tone. The formula is perfection - heavily pigmented, almost perfect in one coat. I do two thin coats out of habit and the formula is incredibly easy to manipulate. It dries quickly and shiny, and it lasts about four to five days on …Read more

It looks gunmetal gray/black indoors, but under sunlight you can see that this polish is actually a very dark blue with silver shimmer. The formula isn't very pigmented - the first coat is barely there. I use two thin coats and one medium coat to get this opaque and smooth. It doesn't dry very quickly, so I recommend a quick dry topcoat. It only lasted two days before chipping. This was …Read more

This is a very sheer, pink-based iridescent polish. I'm not sure how suitable it would be for work given that the iridescence is rather eye-catching, but it's a nice way to spice up an otherwise boring manicure. The formula is easy to manipulate and you can do as many coats as you want but this thing is never going to be opaque. It lasts about three days on me before chipping and dries …Read more

This is a very pretty dark teal creme, but unfortunately, it gives me lobster hands. I adore the color, though. The formula is slightly thick but satisfyingly pigmented, I do two thin coats for a smooth opaque result. The wear time was not so good, I think it chipped on the second day. On the bright side, it didn't stain my nails at all when I really thought it was going …Read more

I think this has a very unfair reputation. It's a great layering nail polish - I love it over black, mid-tone greys, and blues. It looks amazing over OPI Yogata Get This Blue. I haven't actually tried getting it opaque on its own because I don't really like the bottle hue anyway. It dries fairly fast, wear time is rather good as expected of a glitter. I wish the glitter was …Read more

Very fun and girly! I love the holographic hex glitter, and I like that the base is tinted enough to wear this on its own. The formula is thick - kind of like smoothing a gel onto your nails, but it's nothing too difficult to deal with; just add thinner if you don't like it. I wear it at three coats alone, since I find it a little too tinted to layer nicely. Wear time is extraordinary - …Read more

This is a lovely dusty sage green nail polish which is surprisingly flattering on my skin tone and doesn't make my hands look reddish at all. It's certainly an unusual color, and I really like it! It's edgy but still fairly neutral. Application is a little finicky - a tad streaky, but it evens out at three thin coats and a good topcoat since it doesn't level out that well …Read more

A great basic neutral shade, very flattering on a wide variety of skin tones. It's surprisingly appealing, actually, for a work-safe color - not boring at all. Gives off a feminine, professional vibe. I would describe the color as grayed mauve/taupe.

It's a three-coater for me, but I use extremely thin coats. There is still VNL if you look really closely, but it doesn't …
