Makeup Brushes - Morphe - Creator Series

1.0

(This is a limited review as these were not my brushes. I was using these brushes from another MuA that I was working with.)

Had a chance to work with several of their brushes in their Creator Series collection. The quality of the overall brush construction was solid, the bristles felt very soft. Yet the bristles shed all over the place.

To be fair. I was not sure if the …

Every Professional Make-up Artist knows that Duo is the Industry standard adhesive for false eyelashes, and the price is very affordable. I've been using the squeeze tube for 20 years.

Bought this brush on version at MAC on the weekend to give it a shot and used it for the first time today (Monday) on a TV series I am on. Now this brush on version is on the right track for …

Not too sure where to post this, so I posted it in Make-up Brushes.

I had the opportunity to use Terri Tomlinson's Flesh Tone Colour Wheel a few months ago in a seminar that our Union's Make-up Department put on with Terri herself teaching it. It was her first time in Canada teaching this specific course.

The course cost $80 CDN all in per person for 3 hours all hands on. The course included her Flesh Tone Colour Wheel ($12), and her 10 …

The Miller Puff is a washable powder puff that is affordable, (typically under $10). I first started using them back in 1998 and there is nothing like it the industry then and now. I have about 60 Miller Puffs in my kit. And about 200 worn out ones at home that I haven't thrown away... yet. I will explain why later below.

They come in a huge selection and variety of solid colours …

Foundations - Cinema Secrets - Ultimate Foundation 5-in-1 Pro Palette

5.0

Been using this foundation for about four years now, and I am quite happy with it in terms of coverage, finish, and longevity. I have palettes #9,10,11 (cool, neutral, warm) for darker skin tones. There is some overlap in one or two shades being in all 3 palettes. Also the nomenclature of the names of the shades are well... letters and numbers, and long ones at that, which makes it difficult to …Read more

Crème - Kryolan - Ultra Foundation

Been using the 48 shade palette form of this foundation since 1997. This full coverage creme based foundation is very easy to work with and easily blends with primers even if you wanted to thin out the consistency to a liquid if you wanted too without sacrificing coverage. The pigment content is medium to high. The longevity is typical with what you'd find with other similar creme based …Read more
