I'm not a big B&BW fan - I take advantage of the coups like everyone else, stock up on candles, antibacterials, shower cream, yada yada.... So when I went into the store and tried this EDT I was surprisingly pleased since the mailed postcard scent strip was not all that. I see a lot of people commenting on Lilac & Honeysuckle notes that aren't listed but I do get that sweetness …Read more
I'm declaring my love for this perfume. I did not want to fall for another Serge, and since Rahat faded so quickly on me I anticipated this might not work. I can't rationalize big bucks with no lasting power. I also already own POTL which has been my "almond" of choice, but POTL is quirky and requires me to be in the mood for all its nuances. This lasts all day and stays …Read more
I really love this eye cream. I think it is fantastic and extremely moisturizing for my skin, eyelashes and brows. I think it is better at night versus day under makeup (it is a little bit greasier than I normally use and could cause your eye makeup to smear). I have tried many an eye cream (probably about 8-10 kinds in the past 6 years) and this is right up there with the Body Shop's …Read more
I love this non-scrubbing scrub! It makes my face glowy, soft and nice. I use it a few times a week and massage it in and leave it on for a few minutes for the fruit action to work (there is more exfoliation from the pineapple/papaya than any granules in the actual scrub). Not the cheapest scrub, but I find it to be gentle and effective which is a miracle for my skin.
So I bought this when my store was out of Revlon's Lash Fantasy in the blackest black. I used to be a big Colorstay fan. But Revlon's stuff started getting flaky on me. I digress. So I migrated to L'Oreal's display since they are affiliated with Lancome and all. I used to be a Definicils junkie too. I digress again. I don't really need too much work in the lash …Read more
I put it on the other day and I had to wash it off because it was just too much for me. However I didn't want to review it or write it off without giving it more of a chance, since the opening of Shalimar (a Guerlain fave of mine) is off-putting to me at first, and people seem to really like Mitsouko on MUA. So today I did an experiment and put Mitsouko on one wrist and Shalimar on the other …Read more
The first time I tried this I thought it was just OK. I had received it with a sample of KM Loukhoum, which I thought that I liked better- the KM ended up turning icky on my skin in the drydown and I decided that one was a no! Last night, I gave Talco another try. It has been hot and humid here and I had just taken a shower before bed. Man was this good! Admittedly, it is strong for a powdery …Read more
OK, So I put this on the first and thought I loved it. Thought it would be full bottle worthy and thought I liked it better than Firenze's Talco Delicato. After several tries from my sample, I realize I do not like this on me at all. It reminds me of Love's Baby Soft for adults. And that is the nice part of the fragrance. Then it becomes a drier muskier powder on me that just smells …Read more
Got a sample of this and it's a no. Reminds me of this Cinnamon Cardamom tea....and that's actually the good part. There is something oddly very dry about this, almost masculine. I might like it in a candle, and maybe on a man, but not on my body with my chemistry. I hate to bust up the love in the reviews below but this scent was a bust for me.
