I clearly belong to a minority here, but this cream gave me two painful cyst-like spots, which will take a long time to clear now. I am 99% sure it was caused by this product because I went on holiday in-between one spot and the other, without taking the Turnaround sample with me, and upon using it again after my return, the second spot came out.
The cream is very rich and heavy, a bit too …Read more
Treatments (Face) - CLINIQUE - Repairwear Laser Focus Smooths, Restores, Corrects (NEW September 2013 Formula)
I'm not a big fan of Clinique skincare, as it's often irritated my skin, but I've liked my sample of the Repairwear Laser Focus very much. It hasn't broken me out, it has made my skin softer and I would probably buy it if I found it on offer, but not at full price.
This has become my definitive hand cream. What I love about it is that it is not greasy at all, and dries very quickly upon application. I haven't noticed any particular changes in the strength of my nails, but overall for application, scent, texture, price and hydrating power, this is my favourite hand cream ever.
I bought this after a beauty therapist used it as part of a facial I had. She commented on the dryness around my eyes, and recommended this serum. I have been using it for a couple of weeks, and although I do notice that the skin is softer afterwards, that's just about it. Just logged on to write a review about this product, only to find out that Alex193 had already written exactly what I was about to! Same here, red eyes and stinging, uncomfortable sensation using this. It's a shame, because it is very good at removing eye makeup, mascara included. I guess my eyes are too sensitive for this product, or maybe the product is not mild enough for sensitive eyes! …Read more
I have been using Clarins Instant Smooth Perfecting Base for some time, and I'm happy with it, but I saw this Lancome primer advertised in a magazine and thought I'd give it a go (the price is only marginally higher than the Clarins primer.) I will now finish the pot, but will go back to Clarins afterwards.
There's nothing very wrong with this primer, but it seems to show my …Read more
I hate to slag an EL product off, because I normally love their skincare, but this product was just very disappointing for me. It broke me out several times during the two months I used it (no other change to my usual skincare routine apart from introducing this serum), and felt quite strange on my skin. I kept using it in the hope that it would get rid of the discoloration on my skin, and I must …Read more
I bought this as a cheap alternative to my beloved Clinique Take the Day Off Balm and after using it twice I promised myself to never, ever betray one of my HG ever again. What for? I appreciate what one of the other reviewers has said, about using it cold, and then take it off with several tissues before rinsing, but why should I spend 15 minutes every night just to use this product, when …Read more
