This works well to remove makeup and clean my skin. However I find it just a tiny bit drying, but not enough to not use it. It is a tad pricey for the size of the jar, but I found it on sale at Walgreens and bought 3 of the for about half price! Smells lovely, emulsifies readily and rinses cleanly. Speaking of rinsing, it does NOT have micro beads in it. Yes, it has polyethylene in it, but …Read more

This has been renamed "Green Defense" which is a shame, because I thought the name "Green Screen" was clever as yell. Farmacy assures us the ingredients are the same, the product was just renamed, and I think I believe them. I have a small sample of the Screen, and bought the full size Defense when it came out, and they feel and look the same to me. Anyway, this stuff rocks my …Read more

I just love this. It's a white floral with some vanilla undertones to it, at least on me and to my nose. I get zero coconut (which is good - not a fan of coconut scents). I have the oil roll on and its lasts and lasts on me. It's not a powerful in-your-face white floral; the sillage is rather soft (short? - not sure what the nominclature is) what I mean is it won't assault the …Read more

This is one of the few "meh" products I've encountered from Trader Joe's. It just doesn't moisturize - it's a dud. It soaks in surprisingly well given that petrolatum is so high up in the ingredient list (3rd ingredient, actually) but just doesn't do anything for me.It also leaves your skin feeling coated b/c dimenthicone is the 4th ingredient, but it's …Read more

I'm pretty much just going to second everything that NoBSBeauty said about this stuff! It's amazing under makeup - I've starting using it as a moisturizer/primer now that the weather's warmed up, and it works great for that. I know it won't be moisturizing enough when the weather turns cold again, but for now it's great! No white cast, it is *very* lightly …Read more

I love the smell of this, and I used it eons ago when my skin was just generally oilier than it is now. I bought some last year and have been using it, but I find it a bit drying and it makes me itch a little bit, so I'm going to stop using it. I wish it was made in a moisturizing version - I'd be all over that, but this is just a bit much for my skin now. I don't consider that the …Read more

Got a sample of this and while it's ok, it has TWO (count them - TWO) ingredients in it. Cyclopentasiloxane and Dimethicone Crosspolymer, both are types of silicones. So if you don't like a silicone feel to your primer, avoid this at all costs. I rather like them, and they don't bother my skin, but $42 for this is outrageously expensive. If I could find it say for half that, I …Read more

Rather on the fence about this. It has a strong scent, but I find it fades pretty quickly, but the thing that really puzzles me is the white cast it leaves. I'm not dark skinned (nc25-30) and I can still see a white cast if I use the recommended 1/4 tsp. amount. It's moisturizing enough for me in the colder weather, but it's too much in the summer for me. All in all, I don't …Read more

This is for the honest to goodness eye makeup remover, not the stuff in the jar. The ingredients are simple, it's a nice thin, gel/cream consistency so it's pumps out just the right amount and it removes waterproof mascara in a trice! It's a bit greasy, but given the ingredients, that shouldn't be surprising. The only real drawback to this is that it's crazy pricey for …Read more

I have used this stuff for eons. When I was a teenager and my skin was a rampant oily mess, I used it all over as a mask, and it helped clear things up a bit. Now - even tho I'm rapidly progressing to geezerdom, I still get the occasional zit or some weird thing. I use this as an overnight treatment on those, and it's as close to a miracle worker as anything I've ever used. It will …Read more
