Shampoo - Paul Mitchell - Tea Tree line

I've used two lines of this product. The first, Lemon Sage Thickening, is wonderful. Not strong, lightly scented and is great for thin or oily hair that needs a healthy boost but is weighed down easily. Loved this one. On the other hand, I purchased big bottles of the Tea Tree Special Invigorating shampoo and conditioner. At first, it was great. Much stronger than the previous Lemon one. The …Read more

Mascara - RIMMEL - Glam'Eyes Lash Flirt

My "go to" mascara. It doesn't clump or smear. I buy the non-waterproof extreme black. It washes off easily and looks great when layered. I will often reapply 2 or 3 times without any lumps. The only downside is that it seems to run out quickly but I don't mind because it's cheap. It costs less than $6 at Walmart.

Moisturizers - Arcona - Magic Pink Ice

I have extremely acne prone skin. Most likely hormonal acne. Pink Ice is NOT very moisturizing but it IS hydrating. If that makes sense. It leaves my skin's surface hydrated without having a moisturizer- type feel to it. I haven't been using it long enough to report any long term effects (a few days). It's smells like a sweet berry. I can do without the fragrance, but it's …Read more

Lotions/ Creams - Unlisted Brand - Designer Skin Tanning Intensifier-Phoenician

I have purchased Designer Skin tanning products in the past and I'm usually happy with the product. I am not extremely pleased with the Phoenician tanning intensifier. I suppose it moisturizes well, but aside from that, I'm not impressed. It seems to use a type of silicone to provide hydration. Caution...extremely slippery. Even when the product seems to soak into your skin, it leaves …Read more

If you have acne prone skin, stay away from this product. I know the packaging states it is non comedogenic, but I beg to differ. There are numerous pore clogging ingredients in this moisturizer, which should have been red flags for me, but I tried it anyway. I used it every morning after my shower and under under makeup. I noticed the first signs of pimples after only three or four days …Read more

Lotions/ Creams - Suave - Moroccan Infusion Lotion

Fabulous. I have been using this lotion all summer and I love it. It smells DIVINE. You can feel the slipperiness of the argan oil but it isn't too greasy. And the price is great at just under $3.00 (Walmart) for the smaller bottle. I plan on adding a few drops of cranberry and black raspberry seed oil to the next bottle for extra oomph.

Cleansers - Ole Henriksen - African Red Tea Foaming Cleanser

This face wash is great. I have combo skin with hormonal acne. It's tough finding products that don't make my acne worse. This cleanser hasn't caused any additional breakouts and it smells GREAT. It has a clean citrus peel smell to it. Doesn't make my skin dry after washing and seems to do a good job removing makeup.

This stuff works wonders on my combo skin. My face is slightly oily with dry patches due to retin-a use. It makes my skin so smooth and radiant. Light, clean fragrance. Worth every penny.
