I had a feeling these were going to have bad reviews, lol. I bought the shade "double date" which I believe is the 2nd shade in the line. I like this. This is like the Marc Jacobs Dream Filter contour/highlight palette with a shittier formula but better colors (at least for me). The contour in this is more like an actual contour but can be a "brontour" IMO. Use a light …Read more
The bad reviews on these are really surprising to me. These are the best matte eyeshadows I've used and I have a lot of eyeshadow. Matte-ison avenue (pictured) is a true burgundy color that does not pull muddy/brown with wear, which is really unusual for a matte burgundy in my experience. The grey color and "cafe au lait" are also fantastic. Cafe au lait is also my go-to …Read more
This bronzer is fabulous. Has a slightly rosy undertone and doesn't pull orange or muddy on the skin. It reminds me of the bobbi brown natural bronzer in tone, but a better formula and a bit more blendable and less pigmented for a natural application.
I've been searching for a cool toned bronzer for fair skin forever. Many of the recommendations for fair skin (Nars laguna …Read more
This is a great product. A "creamy" powder that is very pigmented and can be blended with a dense brush. I apply with my finger
along my cheekbone and jawline and use it as a contour on my fair cool toned skin, then buff it out - it has no bronze, brown, orange, or red cast to it. Just a gray beige tone. It works as an eyeshadow too. I already bought a back-up for when …Read more
Afterglow is a great highlighter for pale cool tones. You also get a ton of product, as with the Milani rose blushes in a similar container. Creamy texture for a powder. More glowy than glittery. I use it on my collarbone and shoulders as well, since I feel like I have product to spare ;).
Found on amazon; discontinued in stores. Haven't tried the new version HD blush. Such an amazing color for fair, cool toned skin. Some reviewers said you have to be careful with the pigmentation but I completely disagree... this is very buildable and hard to mess up. I apply with the real techniques setting brush under my cheekbone. I've also been using this for a …Read more
Definitely my least favorite of the LORAC PRO palettes. The first two (PRO 1 and 2) are my absolute go to everyday eyeshadow palettes. This one is not bad at all - the formula is generally the same good formula the other LORAC Palettes have, but it's just not flattering on my skin tone. I will say the shade Medallion on the lower sheer row makes me angry. Literally the worst eyeshadow …Read more
Best blush ever, and the only one I've ever hit pan on. I think this is a more sophisticated and flattering version of NARS orgasm. I normally hate the popular peachy pink blushes with golden shimmer (milani luminoso, orgasm) but this one is more neutral and more subtle. The one thing I don't like about it is the pan shape and that it's harder to find than it used to be. I …Read more
Mostly rating 4 stars for the colors. The amber and mocha shades are absolutely beautiful colors for creating a contour shadow and bronzing, respectively. I have really cool toned skin so most contour products end up looking too warm, but both of these look gorgeous and natural on me. The trick is that you have to warm up by rubbing and apply with your finger, then blend out immediately with a …Read more
