I bought this toner and was immediately put off by the smell. I also did not notice any significant changes in my skin; It neither became better or worse.
However, recently I've been on the verge of breaking out--tiny bumps appearing on my face, potential cosmetic acne--because of trying out a new product (Jergens natural glow, FYI). I saturated those bumps with DWH because I …Read more
I consider this lotion to be mediocre. One of my problems with most lotions is that they usually disappear on me rather quickly. When I saw the "24-hour" label on the bottle I bought this on impulse, thinking it would solve the problem.
I find that this isn't very moisturizing. The scent gives me a headache when I smell too much of it. The film it leaves (I believe its …Read more
This thing REEKS of alcohol that I'm too afraid to apply this! At first I tried applying it to my face but felt that it made my skin too dry. Right now I'm using it with lotion on my arms just so I can finish up the bottle. After this, no more repurchasing.
To summarize: Drying. Bad alcohol smell.
When I first tried this out on the beach I thought it was great. It melted easily into my skin and didn't leave a white cast.
When I added it into my regular skincare routine however, IT BROKE ME OUT. A week after I started using it I had 3 big zits on my face and tons of small bumps. After removing it from the routine, my face seemed to calm down but it still had the scars from …Read more
This lasts a little longer on me than most eyeliners in its price range, but it still disappears after a few hours :( I'm very disappointed with this product especially because of all the glowing reviews of my fellow oily-skinned sisters here at MUA.
This was my first foundation brush so initially I had no basis of comparison. It works for its intended purposes. Its quite sturdy--I've washed mine several times already and none of the bristles have fallen. The bristles are also soft, but are dense enough so that there will be a transfer of product.
My complaint would be that it it can apply streaky; it could be improved by the …Read more
Their website claims, <i>"Provides moisturization that lasts up to 24 hours."</i> and I must say this is almost true. So far I've only tried the olive one and it really locks in the moisture. I put it on the morning and when I get back home late in the afternoon I can still feel my skin is moisturized :)
When they said "deep clean" they weren't kidding. This was my HG cleanser during my (ridiculously!) oily teenage years; It significantly lessened the oiliness and less break-outs.
However, now that I'm in my 20s (and less oily), I find it too harsh. My skin gets too dry with this now. I have since moved on to a gentler cleanser *cough*Cetaphil*cough*, but I reach …Read more
I bought this product under the premise that it's a gentle self-tanner but was very disappointed. True, it did tan my skin a bit, but the change was too subtle that I was the only one who could notice it (but only because I'm nitpicky).
Then there's the smell. YUCK. And it lingers too!
Probably the only good thing about this product is that it …Read more
