Pleasantly surprised with this mascara! It's the cheapest and most basic on offer from Catrice, a brand that's generally cheap and mostly basic. I bought the red tube, which does not claim to be water proof.
What makes a mascara good for one person might be the reason why another person dislikes it, so it's always hard to go by ratings.
For me a good mascara is one that …

This product seems so *whitening* it makes me look incredibly washed out and pale. And I am pale already. Revlon Colourstay in Ivory, and MAC doesn't run light enough for me; that kind of pale.
Reading reviews I bought #13 thinking it would be the perfect solution for me. Something quick to use, perfecting, and pale enough for my complexion. On my skin it sits very obviously and never …

It's full of irritating essential oils that upset my sensitive skin. After some weeks of facial use about 1 year ago, this product has been demoted to the lowly job of cuticle oil. And it could even do that better. The only reason I still employ it at all is because it cost so much.

Every time I pumped this semi-translucent, soft white, and viscous liquid into my hand I was reminded of the many spurts which have come from the phallic fountains of my former lovers. It is about as effective at removing my makeup as their fluids, too. This product is less likely to irritate my eyes, though.

In short: It is harmless, but doesn't pull its weight. I am not in love.

Even the sales assistant warned me about this product, suggesting I stick to the original loose product instead. But I was about to embark on some weeks of travel and wanted to have a compact mineral foundation solution to disguise my reddened sensitive skin. A last minute purchase this was, and a badly researched one.

I use the lightest shade in the original formula, and was matched …

Some strange marriage of coincidence and necessity combined when I brought myself to Boots in search of sunblock due to some upset I had with my angry rosacean skin and a general female insecurity brought on by vague intimacies. Perhaps anticipating these seasonal skin changes, springtime urges and their associated self-doubts, Boots had thoughtfully applied a 3 for 2 deal on all skincare …Read more

I finished a bottle of this a couple of months ago (but haven't repurchased), and here are my thoughts:

* The thing I loved most about this is that it was so easy to apply. I've never been able to just "rub-in" a foundation without it catching to my skin and somehow creating flakes and just looking bad. This you can rub in, and it settles to look just like skin …

I've had chapped lips as long as I can remember. It's always been a job to stop myself biting them, peeling the chapped skin off (grosss), making the situation worse. I tried so many things over the years - Vaseline, pure shea butter, Lanolips, Palmers cocoa butter stick, chapstick, carmex, 8 hour cream, coconut oil, even vitamin E oil straight from the capsule.
But NOTHING worked …

i've used a few products from this range, most are ok but the coconut oil conditioner (the regular conditioner in the big bottle, not the leave in, I haven't tried that) is the best conditioner I've ever used.
My previously dyed-brown hair was highlighted and then bleached to platinum blonde, so you can imagine how dry and damaged it was. I had used this before and loved it …

I've been using this for about 6 weeks and my sensitive combination skin is liking it. I bought it because I had run out of the other serums I had been using (BioEffect, and Lancaster 365) and wanted something cheaper.
As others have said it is more like a light lotion than a serum. It feels good on my face and I often don't need to use any moisturizer afterwards. I always have to …
