I have been using this for about a year. It's good for my skin, which is at both extremes in its combination of dryness and oiliness, as well as being super sensitive and prone to redness; Fine Flowers Gel-Cream Cleanser does not irritate my skin at all. I was a faithful user of Sanctuary Spa Fresh Faced Purifying Face Wash before they discontinued it, and this is the most similar product …Read more

I have been a longtime user of Lancome HydraZen, and just didn't think it was really worth the price. I've tried various brands, drugstore and high end (Vichy Normaderm, Sanctuary Matte stuff, Neutrogena), but have never found one that responded well to my needs. I was looking for a new moisturiser for my sensitive skin (combination, which has flaky spots but which also gets super …Read more

Dry Shampoo - KMS - Hair Play Makeover Spray

I have tried a lot of different brands of dry shampoo in both spray and powder form, and I think I may have found the HG in KMS Makeover Spray. I got it at TK Maxx in the UK, so I think I may have the old packaging. I really hope they didn't change the formula with the update, because it is pretty much perfection. I avoid wet-shampooing too frequently (I have coloured hair), so I use a …Read more

I had almost the exact same experience as trayw86 (review below). It did amazing things for the back of my hand in the store, and absolutely nothing for my face. Given the price, I expected a lot more (hence the 4 there -- pricey for a drugstore brand and not even worth half of it). It might feel nice on the skin at first, but I go super oily/shiny about an hour after applying it under my …Read more

Makeup Brushes - EcoTools - Powder Brush

I absolutely love the ecotools line. I was blown away by the powder brush's reasonable price, given the quality of the bristles (they're very soft); it's lovely to use. While I agree that its shape is more oval than round, I don't feel that this has affected its performance at all. I was thrilled to find a product like this at Wal-Mart, and was inspired by my satisfaction …Read more

Eye Shadow - Unlisted Brand - Indulge

Indulge shadows are a staple for me. I love them! The pigmentation is quite impressive, although the shimmery ones look far more so in the package than on the eye. The thing I love most is that the shadow stays put; the first time I used it, I dreaded the mirror check after a night of dancing. But my worst fears weren't realized: my eye make-up hadn't budged! Even without a primer …Read more

I like this mascara a lot, and it gives an even curvier, prettier look than MAC Pro Longlash, which I had been using before. It was a little tough to get used to its texture, as it stays kind of waxy all day -- but it's that very texture that keeps it from flaking, so I guess it's ultimately a good thing. It takes a little more work to get it off than most other mascaras I've …Read more
