Lipstick - MAC Cosmetics - Powder Kiss Lipstick - A Little Tamed

At 64, lipsticks and I are rarely friends. However, I look like a corpse without it.

Hello, MAC Powder KISS!

This is a great formula for mature lips. It doesn't migrate into the fine lines, the color is vibrant and it feels great on.

Most mattes make mature lips look caked. Not so here.

I do need to reapply every few hours to keep the color consistent …

Moisturizers - Aveeno - Ultra-Calming Daily Moisturizer 100% Mineral Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF30

I hate sunscreen. Hate it. Spent a fortune on this one, that one, another one. They leave my skin inflamed with cystic acne at 64.

So with much reluctance I bought this in Walgreens expecting to do nothing more than toss it into a drawer. But the sun was bright and I thought, "burn vs. breakout?"

I actually like it. I haven't broken out. It's mineral. And I …

Tinted Moisturizer - Kosas - Tinted Face Oil

I'm 64 and always looking for a foundation that tones redness without being a masque of silicone that rests in fine lines. And because I have about a minute to apply makeup, it has to be applied quickly.

My skin still has an oily t-zone. Normal cheeks. I exfoliate regularly. It's a must for this product. Flakey skin equals a disaster with this liquid.

On the light end …

Cleansers - Dove - Beauty Bar - Sensitive Skin

Simply the best! I think I've used every cleanser on the market. (It's more "hobby" than anything else.)
But when your derm says. "Dove," believe them!
This removes makeup without overseeing and reduces then need for add on products like makeup remover and balms.
And get the unscented version because any fragrance can be irritating.

Gels/ Soaps - Suave - Naturals Body Wash - Mango Mandarin

I loved this from the moment so popped the top! No fake plastic-y scent at all.

So my last body wash was Chanel. $50. Shameful. Look, I love Chanel scents. But it had an oil infusion and I slipped in the shower. So I need to find a basic shower gel with no emollient additives.

This one is just great! Rinses like a dream. No lingering tub residue. And the price is …

Eye Shadow - Maybelline New York - Soda Pop Eyeshadow Palette

Happily surprised at how good this palette is: blendable shadows, little fallout, interesting color story. I can't say that about all of their shadows. The dark colors work well as liners. Great for my mature eyes.

BB Cream - CHANEL - CC Cream Complete Correct SPF 50

For me at my age (64), this just doesn't work. It used to but, like others have said, it is all silicone. And sits in every.single.line. I used a Chanel foundation brush, buffed lightly...and ended up with wallpaper paste. And though it says it has a high spf, I was red after a 15-minute walk. So what is the point? Chanel foundation colors can be a tough match for fair skins, too. Deep …Read more

If you love No. 5 and want to treat yourself, look no further than this body oil. It comes in a spray glass bottle and only requires one spritz on your hands to cover your legs and arms. Absorbs perfectly. Not over scented. Love, love, love!

Powder - Lancôme - Dual Finish Versatile Powder Makeup

I've used this off and on since I was 21 - and I'm 63. I've switched around to both high and low but always make my way back.

I've made an effort to seriously use sunscreen so I need something that will be fast to apply and not streak. Ta dah!

I press it - don't sweep it - with a kabuki brush. I'm guessing that the Lancôme brush would be …

Concealers - Neutrogena - Hydro Boost Hydrating Concealer

I like the concept of this concealer but not the execution.

First, we all need different attributes from a concealer - they're not all equal anymore. And so finding a product is trial and error for all of us.

That being said, this is NOT for those with significant dark circles- there isn't enough pigment. It also isn't so good for concealing blemishes or dark …
