My skin: Mac NC20, Estee Lauder Double Wear 2N1 (Desert beige); warm/neutral and fair skinned. Combo (oily T zone).

I purchased the shade Ivory. For reference I'd rec Ivory to ~NC15-18, this shade was too light for me. I needed bronzer to make it more wearable on the cheeks. I did not use a moisturiser, primer or setting powder.

It has a pump, glass bottle. Feels …

Affordable. Feels a little bit gritty, but not too irritating on the skin. A little drying on my combo skin. Removed make up ok but not amazing, still would have some make up residue. It ended up causing me acne break outs so I had to stop using.

Skincare - Body - Unlisted Brand - Pears - The Original Transparent Soap

I use this for my body as a bar soap. It is quite a large size, transparent and cheap ($2 at Costco). Has a pine scent. Doesn't get very sudsy. Non irritating, non drying. However, I didn't like how quickly I've been using this up. Since it feels quite 'soft' (sorry don't know how else to describe) I've used this soap ~5x times in the shower and almost half is …Read more

I got it in Sheer. It has a slightly whitening effect on the lids and is a little opaque. My skin tone is NC 20 (warm-neutral, fair) and it is lighter than my skin tone. On applying, it spreads easily. It doesn't feel sticky. It dries on the lids quickly (<20-30 secs) and the tackiness completely disappears.

I applied my eyeshadows directly (without a base layer) onto 1 eye and …

Misc Beauty Tools - Unlisted Brand - Daiso Cotton Puffs

Good product. Doesn't ball up and leave fluff on your face. It feels thinner compared to other puffs I've used in the past but it doesn't bother me. In fact, this is good in not using too much product (i.e. thicker puffs tend to absorb more product so there's less on your face). Good price.

Recommend.

Misc Beauty Tools - DAISO - Brush Cleaner

It's a decent product for the price and it gets the job done. It's not as good as the Daiso sponge cleaner in my experience. It doesn't foam as much, and I find myself having to use more of this cleaner vs the sponge cleaner. I've used both for my brushes and sponges (the brushes are both natural and synthetic fibres).

But I'm going back to the sponge cleaner …

One of my favourite 'one and done' eyeshadows. It's a lovely pink champagne color, shimmery with no fallout, good pigmentation and blendability. I also like to pair this up with Naked on the crease and some eyeliner for a nice daytime look.

Definitely recommend.

(My skin tone is fair, warm/neutral - Mac NC 20 btw).

I removed lippies because I found this e/s to have a steeper learning curve than I expected plus it isn't really true to color. It is a golden/bronze with a brown/red undertone. Packed heavily, it is the lighter, brighter color. As it is diffused out, the undertone becomes apparent and so it darkens.

I had the experience of using a small amount on my lids and blending as I went …

Highlighters - Etude House - Secret Beam Highlighter

My skin color is fair, warm/neutral (NC 20 in Mac). I have the pink/purple/green highlighter.

It's a very finely milled powder. The one that I have I think is better suited for cool complexions, in hindsight I should have bought the golden highlighter instead especially with my skin yellow undertone. Depending on the brush I use, this product can look extremely white cast/frosty …

I've got NC 20 skin tone (warm/neutral, fair). This is a light salmon/pink color, looks matte to me. I tried using this on my nose but it looked awful. Why? It seemed to clash with my yellow skin tone and I looked ashy and grey. But I tried it under my eyes as a color corrector/concealer and it worked well. I will add though that I have fairly mild circles under my eyes. It seemed to dry …Read more
