Highlighters - Makeup Revolution - Vivid Baked Highlighter

I was temped by these because I've been distinctly highlighter-less and they were a reasonable (cheap!) price, so really why not... and I've been pleasantly surprised!

*For reference I am extremely pale with neutral undertones, and incredibly dry skin*

I got the single versions of these and bought Golden Lights and Peach Lights, and quite like both - it just …

Shave Products - NIVEA - Nivea for Men Sensitive After Shave Extra Soothing Balm

Well this is straight up wizardry...

So like everyone else I bought this because of the hype surrounding it being a great primer. I've had really mixed results with primers - most misses, the occasional semi success, but I figured why not? It's cheap, I've used and liked Nivea products in the past, I'm not bothered by the smell (I prefer masculine scents on myself …

Foundations - Too Faced - Born This Way Foundation

So I finally gave into the hype and purchased this foundation - I'm actually really loving it, but there are a lot of niggly "buts"/conditions... Let me explain:

(For reference, my skin is bone dry, not sensitive, prone to hormonal breakouts, and extremely pale with a neutral undertone.)

I was excited to try this foundation because in addition to all the hype …

Concealers - Collection - Lasting Perfection Ultimate Wear Concealer

I stumbled upon a glowing recommendation for this somewhere on YouTube, and I thought for the price, no harm if it turns out to be a bit of a dud so I decided to give it a try and picked it out in the shade "Fair 1" - I'm SO glad I did.

*For reference I'm super pale (around NC10), with bone dry, although not sensitive skin*

I'm always on the lookout …

Highlighters - Unlisted Brand - Freedom Makeup London - Pro Glow "Meow"

I was wandering around the drug store and caught sight of this and thought why not - it's super cute and was crazy cheap at £3.50. I had zero expectations for it to be honest, but I'm so pleasantly surprised because actually it's a fantastic product!

The Pro Glow looks very reminiscent of Too Faced's Pink Leopard Blushing Bronzer, but whilst Too Faced's PLBB is …

Lip Gloss - Yves Saint Laurent - Volupté Tint-In-Oil

I have been eyeing these up for a while and finally decided to treat myself to one - glad I did because I absolutely love it.
(For review purposes I'll note that I am very pale (NC10), I generally have extremely dry chapped lips, and my lips are naturally quite darkly pigmented.)

Sometimes I prefer a more "no makeup" makeup look so I tend to gravitate more towards …

Polishes - Formula X - Sheer Strength - Energetic

5.0

Jan/30/2016

WHERE has this been all my life?!

I'm a big fan of nude milky-ish nails, but until now I've never found a formula that I like... everything I've tried is either too streaky, too sheer, or too opaque - not this. THIS is PERFECT. I stumbled upon it when I was in Sephora the last time I visited home and bought it on a whim - thank goodness I did!

Sephora's …

Moisturizers - Eucerin - Sensitive Skin Redness Relief Soothing Night Creme

Nov/07/2015

I am so surprised to see so many less than stellar reviews for this, as for me it's been an absolutely brilliant product...
*For reference, I'll note that although I have painfully dry skin and mild rosacea, my skin isn't sensitive*

I bought this along with Eucerin's gentle redness-reducing cleanser, and I absolutely love it. Whilst neither product massively …

Cleansers - Eucerin - Redness Relief Soothing Cleanser

Oh Eucerin, I love you so.
I have mild rosacea and my mum actually found this and suggested I try it, and I'm so glad I did. I have extremely dry (although not sensitive) skin, and this cleanser is just perfection for me - it's so gentle, I have definitely noticed a slight decrease in my cheeks' redness, and it doesn't dry my skin out at all.
I like to apply this to …

Blush - Hourglass Cosmetics - Luminous flush

5.0

Nov/07/2015

After trying (and falling head over heels with) Dim Infusion, I knew I had to get my hands on another Ambient blush. Nowhere in my area sells Hourglass, so I did my research and decided to order Luminous Flush. Whilst Dim Infusion works very well on my skin, I love the fact that Luminous Flush is virtually the same pink as my cheeks are naturally and I can get a beautifully subtle "no …Read more
