I found that my skin doesn’t tolerate Vaseline/petroleum jelly at all. Although, the molecules are said to be too big to clog pores, somehow I always end up with more white heads and clogged pores than usual if I put this on my face, no matter how thick/thin the layer is.
Other than my face, it’s great for chapped/cracked skin on the body.
I got a sample of this to try. They gave me B20 which is a bit too light and the undertone is not warm enough. My go to is Chanel perfection lumiere velvet in B20, I’m about NC20. The texture of this foundation is a bit like paint - like applying physical sunscreen, it doesn’t want to blend with my skin, it sits on top. The coverage is medium and can be built up. The longevity is okay, I wore …Read more
First impression trying it for the first time today, it smell nice light citrus scent, a bit stickier than Cosrx, mind you that Cosrx was literally like water. I put it in the spray bottle of Cosrx that I use up. I found less waste doing it that way. Will update with results later
Turns out I like Cosrx better with the results. This doesn’t help me with clogged pores
I have started using this since 18 February 2018 working up from once a day to test it and now 2x a day after face wash. It feels like water, absorbed quickly, quite good even mist. Now the effectiveness, it's quite hard to tell if it's working... It seems keeping my pores cleaner for longer... But I still need to get facial with extraction, not as often I suppose...
I used to use this conditioner with Bain de force shampoo but somehow it didn’t leave much of an impression on me that I stopped using it. The Bain de force shampoo was like clarifying shampoo, left my hair clean. I liked it but not enough for the price as joico does the same thing too for less. Didn’t see any strengthening on my damaged color treated hair. Then recently I used the conditioner …Read more
I have worn this for a couple of days and I'm still undecided... I am about NC20 and in this B20, not sure if this oxidises a bit. It doesn't last very long, but I really like that it looks like second skin - can look cakey though if too much layers applied. I know that chanel is compared a lot to Bourjois healthy mix but having tried both, Bourjois is definitely not a dupe. Bourjois is …Read more
Today my 3rd time using it. I’m using the clarifying version as i can’t find the old version of chelating shampoo. First time didn’t make much of an impression, I used it like I normally shampoo and with apple cider vinegar rinse and hair serum. Result wasn’t good, still frizz city. 2nd time I left it on about 3 mins like the instruction and used it with a deep conditioner and serum, still got …Read more
I’m still undecided about this. I’ve been using it over a week. I like the texture And it makes my skin feel very soft. But I’m not sure if this gives me whiteheads or under the skin pimples that have appeared since using this product.
I found the best technique to use it for its maximum performance. To use it as mask. So I pour it to cotton pads and spread them …Read more
I am still not convinced of its effectiveness. It seems to make my hair more frizzy after it is absorbed. I don't know what I did wrong. I'm not using any heat to style my hair. I just let it air dry. Maybe it needs hair straightener to show the glossy effect? I don't know, but I just don't see any shine or less frizz
I upped the lippies because …Read more
