Styling Products - OGX - Flexible + Beeswax Texture Hair Spray Wax

I've become a hair product junkie all of a sudden. I wear my hair in a pixie and I love the piecy, tousled look. I have tons of products. Sprays, pomades, dry shampoos, beach sprays, you name it, I have it. I have several OGX prods and this is one of them. It's great. Usually, after I dye my hair, or give it a repair treatment, it gets slippery soft and does not hold a style. I …Read more

Styling Products - OGX - Bamboo Fiber-Full Sugar High Tousle Spray

Well, obviously one person's food is another's poison.

This spray is ideal for me. I have baby fine, thin hair cut in a short pixie. I adore the textured, piecey look, but I have a whale of a time trying to make my hair behave the way I want it to. I have a closet-full of sprays, waxes, creams, pomades. You name it, I have it. Texturizing sprays leave my hair dull and …

Styling Products - Cake Beauty - The Hold Out Flexy Hold Hair Spray

I am IN LOVE with this product. I have baby fine, thin hair cut in a short pixie. Most hair sprays - even the ones touted as 'flexible' - leave my hair dull, stiff and crunchy. Enter this beauty.

Every morning, I usually jump out of bed, brush my teeth, throw my work out clothes on, and rush to the gym. When I woke up this morning, my hair was in total revolt. I must …

Cleansers - Neutrogena - Ultra Light Cleansing Oil

I've been faithful to my beloved DHC Deep Cleansing Oil for some 20+ years. However, it's become a bit too pricey for my modest budget. So I've been looking elsewhere for a good cleansing oil to replace the DHC (if only temporarily). I like the NXY one very much. It has the same quality as the DHC: rinses totally clean.

Then I stumbled on Neutrogena's Ultra …

Misc Beauty Tools - Morphe - Continuous Setting Mist

I am on my second bottle of this. I always set my foundation with powder. This spray prevents my makeup from looking like clay. I used a lot of sprays: All Nighter, Revlon's, Maybeline's, Essence, you name it. So far, this is the one I like the most. It's the only one that keeps my face looking fresh. As the previous reviewer said, the continuous spray is wonderful. And it …Read more

Misc Beauty Tools - Ardell - Naturals #172

Totally agree with Banjos. These are among my favorite falsies. They are very natural (or as natural as you can expect falsies to b).. In fact, a friend of mine thought they were real (DON'T I WISH!). I reuse them about 5 times or more. I have other Ardell falsies, but I love these because they add volume and length without looking like you're wearing brushes on your eyes.

I found this at Walmart for $14.99. I don't need another eye palette, but this looked so good and the discount was tempting. I am SO glad I got it. It completely blew me away. The colors are so pigmented I only had to use a very small amount. Shadows are buttery and blend beautifully. The shimmers are not disco shimmer. The packaging is gorgeous (I don't mind that it has no …Read more

What, am I the only one who's tried this? Oh, well. Sick to death of crusty, pruny, yucky matte lipsticks, I've gone back to lip gloss (and balms and regular lipstick), I was looking for a lip gloss that would not be too thick and gloppy. I decided to try this one.

This is the new Lancome lip gloss. According to their blurb, this is a : " ... brilliant lip lacquer …

Primer/ Corrector - Catrice - Prime & Fine Multitalent Fixing Spray

I am in my 60s and my used-to-be oily skin turned normal to dry. This spray rather astonished me. I have used several setting sprays in the past (UD, Kat von D, Revlon, Maybelline, Algenist, Sephora). They were OK (UD was my favorite, but its just too pricey), but I must say this is the best. All the others seemed to dry me up at the end of the day. Not this one. Yesterday, after a busy day …Read more

Primer/ Corrector - e.l.f. Cosmetics - Hydrating Face Primer

I bought this because I wanted something that would hydrate my skin enough to wear powder. I does the trick. I use a minimal - emphasis on MINIMAL - quantity and, though it feels as if it never will sink in, it eventually does. Powder goes on well over it and I don't look like an Egyptian mummy.

So why the low grade? It is chock-o-block full of silicones. And, of course, it …
