Back in my pre-teen days, I wore baby pink and baby blue. During my teens, I never wore nail polish. The first polish I bought after that long hiatus was essie madmoiselle. It took me a long time buy more, so over 3 months, I finished half a bottle of madmoiselle (with or without french tips). That's the most I've ever used of one nail polish. It got slightly thick after using up half a …Read more

It's very flattering on my pale-but-decidedly-yellow-asian-skintone. It's definitely my nails or better for me. It is sheer, it shows the nail beneath but does not show the slightly yellow discoloration of my nail tips. Perfect with 2 coats, but with 3, it's yellow even for my aforementioned asian skin. No streaks, decent wear (doesn't really show when it chips anyway). I …Read more

This is a light, sheer pink with what looks like blue & pink microshimmer. Friends who saw this one took one look, took another look and said that it's a strange pink (in a good way). I don't like it all that much myself. This colour magically expands my nail to a new width or something. My nails look wider with this polish than with others. It's probably because my fingers are …Read more

This is a bright red, not vampy, not shimmery, just a really red red. I don't like it when reds lean pink or berry, and this one (to me) is a true bright red. I have a friend who commented that it had a touch of coral though.

The consistency is like transparent red ink water. Opaque in 2 coats, no streaks. It take a while to dry (I don't use a fast-dry top coat). The wear is …

This is a slightly greyed-out lilac. Surprisingly, it doesn't make my hands look sallow as I feared it might. I am asian, pale, with yellow undertones. I like that this is a light lilac shade that isn't white-based (you know, opaque, pastel, streaky mess). I can wear this and it doesn't look like I have candy wrappings on my fingers. It looks natural... Or as natural as purple …Read more

I bought this nail polish based on the swatches I saw on the web. From the pictures, I got the feeling that this colour was bright but soft, like a hyped up pastel pink. On me, it's a much hotter pink, not pastel at all, but not bright enough to be neon. Reminds me of pink highlighter (not the exact hue, just the feeling). It's a very summery colour.

For reference, I am pale …

It's opaque black. not much to say on the color. The polish is rather thick, but since I mostly apply it on my toes (tiny surface areas for the most part :P) it's not much of a problem. The really odd thing is (I've never seen this in any other nail polish I own) that it doesn't stay glossy! It mysteriously looks kind of matte half a day after I apply it. I don't mind …Read more

Like many other people, I use this for french manicures. It's a soft translucent white, not stark white. I've even had people mistake it for my real nail color (I'm fairly pale).

However, as much as I like the finished look, I don't like how it applies. I guess it's pretty much inevitable for white nail polish, but it kind of... gunks up. I think it's …
