Blush - Stila - Convertible Color Gerbera

3.0
Created with Sketch.

When I first got Gerbera, I loved it. The color is quite bright in the pan, but turns into a really adorable baby peach tone once blended out. The consistency is creamy but not greasy (it doesn't melt on your fingertip when you touch it into the pan), so the staying power of this blush is phenomenon. However, because of it's consistency, it's very difficult to blend unless you have …Read more

Highlighters - benefit Cosmetics - High Beam Liquid Highlighter

I only have the little sample size of High Beam, and I love it!!! Such a pretty silvery pink highlight, really easy to blend, and Benefit always have cute packaging. You only need a few dots, so the bottle's gonna last a long time. I'm saving up to buy the full size once mine's finished. Definitely a HG and must have!!!

Blush - MILANI - Minerals Blush - Luminous [DISCONTINUED]

5.0

Jul/24/2010

This is a perfect dupe of Nars Orgasm, except Luminous is easier to work with. Luminous is slightly less pigmented (thus less likely to overdo), but it's the same peachy pink color with a healthy dose of shimmer. I love Luminous's packaging a lot, its sleek and compact with a mirror and brush included. This is my favorite blush to bring on-the-go, because I found the brush actually …Read more

Blush - Physicians Formula - Organic Wear 2-in-1 Bronzer & Blush

2.0
Created with Sketch.

Jul/24/2010

I got this in the lightest duo (the one with the peachy blush). I was so excited to try it out, because it's almost all organic. However, once I put the product on my face, I realized organic = garbage. I mean this product actually smells like garbage on my face. I first thought maybe it's just the one I got was expired or defective, so I exchanged it for a new one at Shoppers Drug …Read more

Contour - e.l.f. Cosmetics - Contouring Blush & Bronzing Powder

4.0
Created with Sketch.

Jul/22/2010

$3 dupe for Nars Orgasm/Laguna. Although the blush here is more of a dupe for Nars Deep Throat (peachy pink with more pink), and the bronzer a tad darker than Laguna. Both products have shimmer in them. Very practical palette with a huge mirror. I took this travelling so many times, and loved it's super sturdy compact. I have to admit that the blush/bronzer are on the powdery side of things …Read more

Blush - NARS Cosmetics - Blush - Luster

Jul/22/2010

Oh, pretty pretty, such a unique color. This is how I get my "barely there makeup" glow. It's described as a shimmery apricot in the pan, but on the cheeks it's just peachy bronze glow. This was my first Nars blush, so I'll always have a special place in my heart. I absolutely recommend everyone to go get it or just try it in Sephora (they have …Read more

Blush - NARS Cosmetics - Blush - Dolce Vita

3.0
Created with Sketch.

Jul/22/2010

I'm very inconsistent with my opinion on Dolce Vita. Sometimes I love the soft berry cheeks I get with it, sometimes I think it makes me look bruised. I'm a pale Asian (NC20-25) with no special training in blush application, so Nars blushes being very pigmented is very hard for me to control. Also, Nars blushes being very long-lasting, if I make a bobo I can't just wipe it down …Read more

Blush - MAC Cosmetics - Powder Blush - Style

Jul/22/2010

I was deciding between Style, Peachykeen, and Springsheen, and I'm so glad I bought Style. Back then I was on a hunt for dupes of Nars Orgasm blush (which I already have) for god knows what reason. In retrospeck, Style is a lot peachier than Orgasm, it's more like Torrid.

This is a very shimmery blush, so apply with a light hand. Style is probably one of my most used blushes …

Blush - MAC Cosmetics - Mineralize Blush - Dainty

5.0

Jul/22/2010

I bought this just to own a MAC mineralized blush. Initially, I was a bit concerned for the amount of shimmer/glittery on this blush, but fortunatly the color showed on my cheeks quick enough that I don't have to keep layering it on until I look like a disco ball.

It's a warm pinky color with some definite sheen, so it's universally flattering. I actually find myself …

Blush - MAC Cosmetics - Powder Blush - Dame

4.0
Created with Sketch.

Jul/22/2010

Dame is a cool-toned medium pink with tiny shimmers. Very flattering on my NC20-25 skin, gives me barbie doll cheeks. I like to wear this in the winter, because the blue pink counteracts any redness in my cheeks from the freezing and harsh Canadian weather. Paired with a pinky lipstick is perfection, something like MAC Viva Glam Gaga or Rimmel Pink Blush.

When I first bought the blush …
