Primer/ Corrector - BECCA - Mattifying Primer

If you have oily skin, this will keep the oil away.

unfortunately it feels horrible on my skin. I heard you're supposed to pat it on instead of smearing it on since it tugs, and then wait a few minutes before applying your foundation. I did that, but it still tugged on my skin, feeling very uncomfortable.

It did do a great job with mattifying, it just wish it was …

I've tried many high end primers. So far, this one has been the best for my aging (40) extremily oily skin.

I put it on this morning and I sent the day outside in 30c weather. I's now almost 5pm and my makeup still feels freshly applied!!! I blotted once, but I didn't really need to. It is also very comfortable to apply, it comes in a pump and slides easily on the face …

Loose Powders - Clé de Peau Beauté - Translucent Loose Powder

I'm 40 years old and I have VERY oily skin. I need to constantly apply powder to keep my nose from shining like a light bulb. Although this powder is not as mattifying as I would like, it is the best I've tried in terms of finish. You don't see ANY powder on your face at all. it gives your skin a soft focus glow, and you can reapply it as many times as you like, and it never gets …Read more

Shampoo - Pureology - Precious Oil Shamp'Oil

Precious Oil shampoo is actually one of the lower priced shampoos that I have reviewed on this site, and boy, is there ever a difference compared to the more expensive ones I've used!!

If you want to stick with the Pureology line (Philip B, JF Lazartigue are harder to find), I highly recommend the Nanoworks or Nanoworks Gold if you have problem hair like mine. I'm 39 and …

Amazing conditioner.

This conditioner hydrates my severly damaged, aging, frizzy, fine hair without weighing it down. I'm not sure if it's the shampoo, conditioner, or both, but I'm getting even BETTER results with it than I did with the regular Nanoworks line, which I also rated 5 stars but is less expensive. the Gold is thicker, so I find I have to use less of it (I …

I didn't think I would love anything more than the regular Nanoworks line in Pureology. But this one is better.

I'm 39 years old and I have very dry, frizzy, krinkly hair that is also very fine. I also used to have a problem with hair loss so I need top notch products to make my hair presentable. I also love long hair so even though my hair is in terrible condition, I like …

Hair Styling Tools - ghd - Curve Classic Wave Wand

What an AMAZING hair tool for long hair!!! Mine is layered and more than halfway down my back, and I've always found curling irons to be damaging and either it curls my hair too tight like a poodle, or if the curls are big enough, they only last a few hours. This curling iron is expensive. Before finding this, I was using one of the Babyliss ones which ran about $80 - I've seen the GHD …Read more

not a huge fan of this. I have long but fairly sparse eyebrow hairs. The brush is too big, the stuff is too goopy. Imagine drawing in your eyebrows with lipgloss (brush applicator, cuz that's essentially what it is!!). It's actually even difficult to put on with my Anastasia brow brush. because of my long eyebrow hairs, when I put it on it gets everywhere. I usually have to redo it a …Read more

If you like pressed powders, you may like this one. I actually prefer loose powders because eventually all my pressed powders break on me resulting in a lot of wasted product. But I was looking for something that I could fit in my purse, plus I had a gift card at Sephora so I bought it on a whim. The powder looks like a pasty white color, but since I am fair skinned, it didn't change the …Read more

Heres the history of my face: I have had hormonal acne since I was in my mid 20's, and im turning 37 now. It was pretty bad - cystic acne all over my chin and jawline. I tried Accutane, which was effective for 2 years but not without side effects, and my acne eventually came back. I'm using the clarisonic- that also kept my acne at bay for about 6 months, but my acne did come back …Read more
