This is not a setting spray but it has a myriad of uses: it can be used to spritz your eyeshadow brushes to get the most out of the pigment, your makeup sponge to make liquid/cream product application smoother (and some people even say it prevents the sponge from absorbing too much product... that, I can't confirm), to hydrate your face prior to makeup application or during the day, when you …Read more
This is the Maseratti of setting powders; if the color doesn't look too ghostly on you (I know they came out with a darker shade, not sure if it's enough to fit all the dark-skinned gals and guys out there), you won't need to invest in any other setting powder ever again.
It's passable enough for a drug store loose powder, but I don't reach for it anymore ever since I bought the Laura Mercier translucent powder. It's definitely not a dupe, like some reviewers have said it is, as it's not as finely milled and has a different undertone. I only said I wouldn't buy it again because it's got a good value for the amount you get in one …Read more
I'm not a gloss fan but I got this as a gift and I usually carry it around in my bag to spruce up my lip look should the occasion call for it. It's a bit heavy on the lips and I'm definitely not used to picking hair strands out of my lips like I did in middle school in the early 00s, but it does have a very 'your-lips-but-better' quality, and it smells/tastes amazing.
Love the finish and the long weartime, ironically enough they do not have my shade - I always have to mix to get a match that isn't too light or too warm, which is sort of a hassle. If they could only come out with a shade that matched me perfectly this would be my holy grail foundation!
Hands down the worst foundation I own, drugstore or high-end. Bought this as my first stick foundation because the salesperson as Sephora raved about how much easier stick foundations are to apply and blend; that may very well be true but in almost everything else this product is subpar. It transfers, moves around during the day leaving patches of my face completely bare and bunching up in …Read more
As it's plain to see from the ingredients list on this product this thing is a BOMB. It will get rid of most of the oil in your face - EVEN the oil that you NEED, so beware. This is the rare Lush skincare product that I've found actually works as advertised, probably a little better than wanted, in fact. Maybe it was my fault for not following the instructions given to me by the Lush …Read more
Used this for almost two years straight, every day. I'll say this for Herbalism, it never broke me out, unlike Angels on Bare Skin, nor it sucked my skin dry like Fresh Farmacy, and works as a mild scrub, which I enjoy. Other than that, like most Lust skincare products it doesn't do much, so you can get away with using it if your skin is agreeable enough and if you like the whole fair …Read more
Reassured by how many people swore by it online, I tried so hard to make this product work. To no avail: coverage is fine when you first apply it, but it tends to migrate down my cheeks within a few hours of application and make my dark circles as obvious as if I wore nothing to cover them. Besides, the finish is very powdery (on me anyway) and it definitely sets into fine lines. It always ages …Read more
