So drying! That weird floral smell! A "meh" color. Not all NYX rounds have this weird floral smell, but this one does, and so does Thalia! A color that's very close to a bunch of others that's out there. I prefer NYX's perfect which is less brown and doesn't have that floral smell and is not as drying. If I get around to it, I will return it.

I am a big fan of Revlon SL lipsticks and have Velvet Rose, Berry Rich, Mauve it Over. I was looking for a deeper Berry Rich and this was suggested to me. The color is off for me a cool toned NC10-20. I felt the color was too orange/red and just unflattering. It had a dated look to in - not quite 90's but not modern. Returned it.

I love these! They do all the things the ratings say: glide on, stay on, don't smudge. About 10 years ago I converted to Revlon Colorstay liquid eye pen and it became my HG. After discovering NYX and glide on eyeliners I tried my first in gunmetal gray. I dropped Revlon pen almost immediately and went out to purchase NYX Slide on Pencil in both brown and black. I only wish they had a deep …Read more

I don't think of this as a pink - it's more of a light lavender and I pair with a cool purple in the crease. It's very subtle and a good match for my fair skin. I do not have oily eyes and most shadow stays on me for forever, but this seems to fade a bit. I don't mind much and will continue to use (I don't reach for a purple eye very often). I really like the subtlety of …Read more

This is the definition of a killer lipstick. It's not for the faint of heart and is not something I wear every day. (Although kudos to the woman who would! I am more of an MLBB kind of girl myself for everyday). This is a Saturday night, show-stopping, wow-you're-wearing-red-lipstick color. It is perfect for cool-toned, fair skin.

I can't imagine going through the whole …

Well it's definitely NOT an MLBB. It's an oddly bright lavender-ish mod pink. The formula felt heavy, a little sticky and the color was just not a flattering color on my cool, fair skin. Even though it was only $2.39 I didn't want it cluttering my collection so I returned it. While I have an appreciation for WnW blushes and eye shadow, this was my first foray into lipsticks. It …Read more

Lipstick - Bobbi Brown - Lip Color Raisin #3

I love this color, the smell, the packaging and am a fan of Bobbi Brown products in general. However, this formula is so drying that it hurts! I have been in search of dupes for this great color and have found near-dupes in L'Oreal Divine Wine. Both are deep plums with some brown. Raisin is a little more pink than L'Oreal - but avoiding the drying formula is worth it to me. I have also …Read more

I think Divine Wine is great for a cool-toned girl. I tend to wear it more in the winter. I consider it a near dupe for Bobbi Brown raisin, which I have liked for years. However it's a LOT less drying than Raisin - and a lot less expensive. I agree with other reviews on the ridiculous square top. It often comes undone. A little of Divine Wine goes a long way - just one coat is good enough …Read more

Blush - benefit Cosmetics - Box O'Powder Blush - Dandelion

It's a blah, overhyped, chalky product that comes with a decent brush. I bought this years ago and felt compelled to use it because it was so expensive. There are so many other great blushes on the market - including drug store ones that are a fraction of the price. If you're in the market for a new blush, blow past dandelion (no pun intended).
