I have had a good experience with this firming lotion. I wasn't expecting any miracles, but it does temporarily firm up any areas you put it on. I think there may be an ingredient that some people are allergic to (perhaps the mushrooms), but it reacted well with me, and I have very sensitive skin. The smell is pleasant, to me. I will definitely be repurchasing!
I'm really not sure how a product that is supposedly 98% aloe can burn if you use it on very sensitive skin! If you have normal skin, it probably won't cause problems but the whole reason I bought this was to soothe my sensitive skin after waxing (or sunburn, etc.). The smell is kind of like medicinal baby powder. If you have really dry skin, this alone will not moisturize your face. (I …Read more
I was drawn to this product because the ingredients were natural, and it claimed to not clog pores. The smell is a bit like mosquito repellent. After using two wipes, my face was makeup-free, BUT burning and red. Especially around the delicate eye area, these wipes are far too harsh. I did like the cleansing power but that simply isn't worth the irritation.
This product was a serious disappointment. The idea is awesome- a gel you can smear on to make yourself tan until your next shower. I'm not sure if it's my pale, olive skin tone, but it went on reddish- More like a burn than a tan! It stuck much better to the palms of my hands than my body! If you sweat, or it rains, or you touch something wet, it will come off, possible onto your …Read more
Acqua di Gioia is a fresh, energetic, uplifting fragrance. I definitely recommend watching the commercial- It goes along with it very well and, at least in my case, it allows me to picture myself in that jungle scene every time I use it.
When I tried out this fragrance, I really liked the scent- while not as delicate as a real honeysuckle, it was very pleasant. It reminds me a little of jasmine (one of my favorite smells). But, on the downside (and a pretty large one at that), it does not last HALF as long as one would expect, and only slightly longer than a body splash. It's a nice freshener, maybe one you would keep in …Read more
While shopping around, I found the candle version of this scent, and I absolutely fell in love with it. When I saw that there was a perfume with the same scent, I just had to have it. I did the sniff test on the spray, the roll-on, and the solid. The scent of the solid perfume just wasn't as nice as the others, I think. It was a little less fresh and floral and a little more unpleasantly old …Read more
In the winter, my hands can get so dry that they hurt, flake, wrinkle, and get discolored. I've tried regular lotions, oils, salves, and while my hands picked up a little of the much needed moisture, my problem persisted. After finding that this best selling body shop product was regarded so highly by so many review sites, I went out and bought it (not too cheap). Upon first smell, I …Read more
For years I used waxes to remove my facial hair (which is on the longer side of fuzz) and almost every time I would RIP OFF a layer of my super-sensitive skin! I'm talking about a first degree burn. And yet every time, once it was long healed, I got the notion to try it again. "Well, maybe if I don't press it on hard it won't.... Maybe if I use powder beforehand it won't …Read more
