I never found a favourite mascara, most are just fine. Except for this one, this one I really dislike. Its clumpy, stiff, hard to handle. I've used it for 4 days and can't wait to bin it. Quite a shame.

Pressed Powders - Unlisted Brand - Dr. Jetske Ultee Uncover Powder

I bought this on a whim. Dr. Jetske writes a no nonsense blog, a bit like Paula's Choice. Her viewpoint is; pro good and non-irritating ingredients, pro suncreen and anti perfume in skin products. A few years ago she started her own Uncover line. I've tried a few products which I haven't reviewed yet because I think I like them but I don't know how much. This face powder …Read more

I'm on my second tube and love the stuff. Easy to put on, nice substance. Helps me smooth out make-up as a primer but also when I put it on over make-up. Hides dry patches of skin (hurrah). Keeps me slightly more matte but then I don't expect miracles. My favourite primer in this price range yet.

I should have checked MUA first. The colour hardly shows up on me. It's hard to put on well because you don't see it at first. I suppose it might look natural since it's nearly invisible. Oh well, the tube looks nice.

Lips - Unlisted Brand - Fran Wilson MoodMatcher - Luxe Twist Sticks (all shades)

My favourite lipsticks! My lips tend to dry out when using lipstick but these work for me. These Twist Sticks are much nicer than the normal Moodmatcher lipsticks. Easy to apply, moisturising, better looking packaging. I've got the orange one (coral), red and green (fuchsia). Orange is the easiest for low maintenance lipstick which I wear most often during work hours. These lipsticks are …Read more

Remember those Mood Matcher lipsticks? A green lipstick that magically turned pink on your lips? This seems to be an high-end blush in that spirit. The colouring (red 27 dye) reacts to moisture and turns a bright pink on your skin. I have my doubts about how much this adapts from person to person. Yet, I'm a big fan of this red 27 dye because it makes for a bright and long lasting colour …Read more

Blush - Max Factor - Miracle Touch Cream Blush - Soft Pink

First low end blush I bought in ages and I'm very impressed. Nice texture, I like that it's small. I prefer cream blushes because they look more natural than powder and I like to use my fingers. It's less pigmented and therefore easier to use than most of MAC's creme blushes. The colour I have been using is soft pink, that's a bright peach, very natural and flattering …Read more

I happen to like fuchsia and almost all lipsticks dry my lips out. Many an expensive lipstick has been gathering dust after only a few uses. Lovely colour, feels fine when you first put it on but after half an hour dryness and flaky lips. In comes this cheap 90's gimmick, and it works. It's really long-lasting, it doesn't dry out my lips, which I perceive as a bit of a miracle and …Read more
