Hair Treatments - Moroccanoil - Moroccan Oil Treatment

Thought I would wait until I finished the whole bottle to review it, so here it goes 3 months later. Overall, I had much higher hopes for the ridiculous price I had to pay. There was nothing really bad about this, except for the bottle, great in theory due to the amber bottle keeping out UV and deactivating ingredients.. bad in practice, no dropper (which would have been so handy fixed into the …Read more

Liquid - CLINIQUE - Acne Solutions Liquid Makeup Foundation

Finally a good clinique foundation! I've tried superfit which left me super oily and greasy, and perfectly real oxidised on me like crazy. Before trying anti blemish I was happily using SK-II airbrush, and I still am, but applying base, primer, spraying and waiting for it to dry is too much on an early morning (still do it for going out). I got a deluxe sample of this at Myer Sydney CBD …Read more

Masks - No Brand (DIY or homemade) - Sea Salt Mask

I love this as a mask/scrub for my body. I use 100g of sea salt to 3 tbsp of Olive Oil, and 1 tbsp of ground coffee and 1 tbsp of honey. As good as any expensive scrub or mask I've tried, great exfoliation and really good for circulation. Slather some of this stuff on, or even better get a loved one to do it for total relaxation and the lazy man's way out. I leave mine on for about …Read more

Lipstick - CHANEL - Rouge Coco - Rouge Noir

What a beautiful colour. I've been searching for a good wearable dark shade, and after seeing all the promotions for rouge coco, I had to try it. The SA blotted out my lip colour with some concealer first, and then applied rouge noir. I tossed up between getting the rouge coco and hydrabase, but ended up getting coco because it was beautiful applied a sheer coat as well as a heavy vampy …Read more

I bought this for general consumption and cooking, and I couldn't stomach it. It smelled strange, I didn't mind that much until I tasted it. I couldn't do it. I didn't want it to go to waste so I use it around my eyes, so far so good, hasn't caused any breakouts and my skin is very clog prone. I also use a tiny bit on the ends of my hair. Can't say its made the …Read more

Lotions/ Creams - The Body Shop - Body Butter - Brazil Nut [DISCONTINUED]

Mar/21/2010

I've been using this faithfully for the last 8 years, one of the few products I feel I never need to seek a replacement for. I've alternated a few different TBS body butters however, none of the other body butters hydrate quite like this one. Its a thick, greasy cream which penetrates immediately into skin and leaves it moisturised for the whole day. The smell is like sugar coated nuts …Read more

Lotions/ Creams - The Body Shop - Hemp Hand Protector

Mar/21/2010

A lovely product, lives up to the hype of being a super heavy duty hand cream. Firstly it is very thick, not particularly greasy, a bit oily but it sinks right in after a few minutes. I only use a pea sized squeeze, starting to gently squeeze at the ends, rather than just grabbing and squeezing the tube anywhere so that too much product comes out. I saw the tester tube at TBS and it was all …Read more

I don't even know why they brought this out in diffrent shades. put on any shade, wait 15minutes and you'll be a beautiful shade of cheap fake tan orange. The coverage is cakey and like low qaulity mineral akeup it makes your face itch like hell. This really has to be one of the worst mineral makeups I've tried.

I had first found out about Silicea through many advertisements in health food stores. It was probably not untill a year later I had decided to purchase it when I noticed how lacklusture my hair had become, perhaps through too many uses of my straightening iron and the bi monthly hair colourings. Of course I still use topical hair creams and lotions, to be honest I knew that if I wanted nicer …Read more
