Moisturizers - Olay - Regenerist Superstructure Cream SPF 30

I hope that I am reviewing the correct version. Olay is famous for putting out a myriad of almost identical products, in different packages or with different names. I am reviewing their SPF 30 moisturizer cream that comes in a slim red tube with a pump. In my country, it is sold as “3 point firming cream” or something like that.

This is a nice moisturizing cream that does not leave a …

Lip Treatments - Unlisted Brand - Medela Tender Care Lanolin

This has HG status for me, not only as a lip balm. This is the kind of thick ointment used for cracked nipples when nursing. It is an excellent lip moisturizer and super occlusive moisturizer to aid barrier repair (as long as you're not sensitive/allergic to it) and it is fan-tas-tic as a cuticle softener.

The texture reminds me of aquaphor, but a tad more …

Moisturizers - Embryolisse - Lait-Crème Concentrè (24-Hour Miracle Cream)

This is an ok moisturizer, mostly hyped by its cult status. The fragrance is overpowering and does not have any remarkable ingredients.

It is expensive and difficult to find where I live and I think there are better and more affordable options out there.

Quite underwhelming TBH.

Cleansers - La Roche-Posay - Toleriane Hydrating Gentle Cleanser

4.0

This is a non-foaming cleanser that comes in a huge pump dispenser, which makes it overall more affordable.

It feels like a slippery lotion on your face, and seems quite gentle, with no offensive stinging, fragrance, or stripping sensation. However, I am not sure that it would be great to clean all of your MU and WP sunscreen in one single use. I would assume a double cleansing would …

Sunscreen - Australian Gold - Botanical Sunscreen Mineral Lotion SPF 30

3.0

I like the way this sunscreen applies on my combination/oily skin. It is not greasy at all, and has a siliconey texture that I particularly like. However, it leaves behind a ridiculous white cast, so I much rather prefer the tinted version, which has a higher SPF, too (and happens to be my HG face sunscreen).

I acknowledge that it has a strong fragrance, but I happen to like it and …

Sunscreen - Australian Gold - Botanical Tinted Sunscreen Mineral Lotion SPF 50

I really love the way this sunscreen applies on my combination/oily skin. It has a primer-like texture that goes on really well under MU. It is not greasy at all, and looks great without any makeup on, too. Since is tinted, it does not leave any kind of detectable white cast, as other mineral SPF do (actually, the Australian Gold SPF 30 mineral sunscreen leaves has a similar texture, but leaves …Read more

Lotions/ Creams - Neutrogena - Hydro Boost Body Gel Cream

This pump dispenser gel lotion sits on my shower counter, and I rub it on wet skin after showering, followed by a thick moisturizer. The Hydro boost is a nice humectant and combined with a more occlusive moisturizer, it really helps my super dry body skin, especially on my legs, to feel comfortable.

As an oily/combination face skin girl, I often forget about hydrating properly my dry …

Cleansers - CeraVe - Foaming Facial Cleanser - Normal to Dry Skin

3.0

It is an OK foaming cleanser. I love the pump dispenser, as I use this after a cleansing balm or oil, normally in the shower (to you oil cleansing guys out there, you know you can't be bothered with cap unscrewing and precise dispensing with oil clouding your vision lol!). I’m on the oily/combination side, and have a good hydration routine, so I don’t mind using the foaming version, buy I …Read more

Lotions/ Creams - CeraVe - Moisturizing Cream

4.0
Created with Sketch.

This basic moisturizer really hydrates the skin without leaving a greasy feeling. I use it on my body, but in a pinch, I will use it on my face whenever I feel especially dry or flaky.

It is quite cheap, at least in comparison to other CeraVe products.

It comes in a tub, not super sanitary but it is a thick cream, so pump dispenser wouldn’t work.

Very reliable …

Moisturizers - CeraVe - Facial Moisturizing Lotion - AM SPF 30

I like the packaging, as it seems quite sanitary with the pump, but I absolutely despise it on the face. On its own, my face looks shiny and under makeup, it is simply a joke with all the pilling and balling up.

It is not an expensive product, but there is not that much in the tub.

I am not a fan of the smell, but hey, there's not much that you can do about it as it …
