Put this in the category of "youtube made me buy it" and WOW I am amazed. I think it was Jaclyn Hill's "Ride or Die" Video where I found it (a little embarrassing but if you need a demo, she did an excellent job. Hence me buying)

It is a fairly huge jar, flat jar. It's like a thick-ish gel. Unlike I have ever seen. You kind swirl a brush (I am a fan of ELF …

I have to agree with the very thorough review by Tovah below. I am not someone to say that a product broke me out, but this did cause "bumps" on my face after a few days of use (without changing any other product or environment)

Pros:
Very light formula with "slip" without feeling silicone-y
I didn't mind the smell
I didn't feel sweaty or …

Wow do I like this. SA at Sephora recc because I wanted something I could layer under makeup that plays well as a primer/moisturizer/sunscreen

Pros:
-Does moisturize nicely and I have normal to dry
-Doesn't cause foundation to "break"
-Nice not greasy, or that "sweaty" feeling with other sunscreens
-I haven't noticed pilling, although I …

I did major research on finding a Vit C serum, as I know its benefits and that stability/packaging is a major issue. This seemed to be the winner, and the price didn't seem too bad given that "other" serums may be de-activated by light (per research). Have used Ole Hendriksens "truth serum" many moons ago with no real effect, and think it might have been less potent, if …Read more

Powder - RCMA Makeup - RCMA Over Powder

I needed something extra to make my order free shipping (I was buying the RCMA No Color Powder) and I saw this. It's 18 bucks and it comes in a pearl and a gold. I got the gold. I figured for that price, if I didn't like it, it wasn't a big risk.

I love it. It's a sheer gold powder that is not quite a highlighter and not a chunky glittery powder and not a banana …

I have normal/dry-ish skin, NC-15. Other than the dropper being horrible (agree with everyone below) it really made me cakey, even with different moisturizing primers and exfoliating the night before, trying less product and beauty blender, artis, everything.

It's a shame bc it's such a pretty color match. Two words: Cake face.

Eye Shadow - Stila - Magnificent Metals Glitter & Glow Liquid Eyeshadow

Update: In a moment of impulse....I tried this with glitter glue. Still massive fallout. Nope.

I've been loving the Touch-en-Sol cream/glitter wands from Sephora, so I thought this would be awesome (plus the old formula was kind of a pain with the mixing liquid drops). I am realistic/tolerant about fall-out, but as this was new I used it on a weekend for its first trial …

Loose Powders - RCMA Makeup - No Color Powder

Love this stuff. Would buy it even if it were more expensive.

Pros
Truly no color
Not drying, cracking or cakey.
No flashback
Sets like a dream and finely milled

Cons
Parmesan cheese shaker packaging.
Gotta move this to an empty jar or something bc it is flimsy and wasteful.
No puff included if that matters to you

Palettes - Tarte Cosmetics - Tarte Pro Glow

Jan/14/2017

I am a new kid to the contour game (I also like the MUFE palette). I am kind of a nerd when it comes to creatively using one palette to do your whole face. I am NC-15 currently, normal skin (winter dry). I find the cream contour easy to use---just find my cheekbones and blend up with my fingers.

Pros:
Cream is blendable with fingers/sponge, not patchy, and beginner-friendly …
