After reading lots of hype about this product, I finally ordered this. I was completely disappointed and quickly sent it back. For $38, this product didn't do much except make my cheeks feel kind of sticky-greasy. I could just put a little coconut oil there and it would look the same! I'll stick to my powder luminizers. I love the idea, the ingredients, and the packaging, but this is …Read more
I have tried lots of stain products, and I'm really impressed with this one so far. It's easy to use, nice gel formula (not too thick and not too thin), a slight chemical smell but really not bad at all. I have the Paris, New York, and Cannes colors, and they are all really pretty. I put on one coat with the applicator and blend it with my finger. They aren't sticky nor do they dry …Read more
I bought this when I got pregnant and was told to stop using my Differin retinoid cream. I wanted a non-teratogenic alternative that wouldn't cost an arm and a leg, and there was an article in Allure about the power of AHAs. I hadn't used an AHA cream since the days when they first came out and they stung like a mofo. This has definitely delivered. I use it every other night followed by …Read more
I bought this color on a whim, and I'm so glad I did! I'm a redhead, medium skin tone with freckles, and this color shoes up as a beautiful pinky red on me. Creamy, no sparkle, a little dry but not too bad. Long-lasting too. My new fave Revlon s/l lippie!!!
I have this crayon in the plum and the raisin color. I love them both. They have a slight sheen to them but are not frosty. Look great on pale lips. Relatively long lasting (not as long as Revlon Kissable Stain Balm, but more moisurizing). I would buy these two colors again for sure.
I came across this color when I saw that Alexa Chung wears MAC Shy Girl (saw a beautiful pic of her with nude lips and smoky eyes). This color was listed as a good dupe, since Shy Girl is d/c. I have SUCH a hard time wearing pale nude colors. I am freckle-faced fair to medium but have lightly pigmented lips; thus lots of lighter color tend to make me look dead. I think I finally found a peachy …Read more
This has been kind of like a miracle product for me. I have hair that is easily dry and whispy on the ends, frizzy, and kind of between curly and straight. I have always wished it would be one way or the other, but instead it's kind of "in between" and takes significant styling to be either way... until this product. I smooth two pumps on, finger style a few ringlets around the …Read more
I prefer the blendable, powder form of L'Oreal's Infallible e/s to this creamier version, but the new color is the PERFECT opalescent white. I have been looking for an opal color that I can apply with my fingers to add depth to my eyelids. This sometimes has a blue cast and sometimes green. Beautiful!
Ever since the Cover Girl Luminescence products of my early teens, I've been looking for that perfect opal-y sheen of color for eyes and lips... this really comes close! It's a cool silver with an almost blueness to it. Very nice tapped along the lashline over a thin line of eyeliner. Must use primer, but it WILL stay on if you do.
