This product is amazing and smell wonderful. I have fine hair but a lot of it - curl type 3a. I currently have a stacked bob hair style so it's on the short side. I use one pump of this after showering. I mix the product with a tiny amount of water and distribute through my hair, comb, scrunch, and air dry. My hair is almost frizz free, full of body, and healthy looking. I highly …Read more
These pads are perfect. They exfoliate without causing any irritation and do not contain alcohol. I use them solely for exfoliation so I am not really concerned about the antioxidants oxidizing after a few uses. The pads help calm my reactive skin and leave me with a glowing complexion. The amount of lactic and glycolic acids is low for an AHA product but it's acceptable for someone with …Read more
Sunscreen - First Aid Beauty - Ultra Repair Pure Mineral Sunscreen Moisturizer Broad Spectrum SPF 40
This is a moisturizing, non-irritating, chemical free sunscreen that has a high SPF. It works well under makeup but can be a little drying so a moisturizing serum or lotion underneath it is a must if you have dry skin. Otherwise it can be worn by itself.
I read Paula's review of this moisturizer and decided to buy it last weekend. I had been using the Jet Glow serum from Blue Mercury, which is great but extremely expensive - $95 for a one ounce bottle - and was looking for a similar but less expensive product. The Glycolic Acid moisturizer is $45 for two ounces; a bargain I suppose after spending $95 for a similar product. The moisturizer …Read more
I bought this serum at Whole Foods for $24.99. The price, vitamin C content, and beneficial plant oils are what drew me to it. The smell is appealing and the consistency is great - it is very easy to apply. My skin drinks it up. I haven't had any adverse reactions to it but I've only been using it for a couple of days. My only complaint is that the vitamin C content is less than …Read more
Research indicates topical vitamin C products help promote collagen growth in aging skin. I generally like La Roche Posay sunscreens and decided to give this product a try. Active C for eyes is lightly moisturizing and makes the skin around my eyes look younger and healthier. My eyes are not irritated and my concealer goes on easier and smoother. The price is high for .5 ounce but I could …Read more
The salicylic face milk works great for me. It helps prevent new and clear up existing breakouts if I use it every night. I like it better than the Epionce Lytic lotion, which costs twice as much. While I don't find this product very moisturizing, it does not irritate or dry out my skin the way some hydroxy acid products do. It contains 2% salicylic acid, which seems high. Still, I doubt …Read more
The deep cleansing oil removes physical (zinc oxide) sunscreens, which are extremely difficult to remove completely, and all traces of makeup including eye makeup. It is probably one of the best makeup removers I have ever used. It rinses off completely and leaves skin neither oily nor dry. The name is misleading because it's not a cleanser. It is simply a makeup remover, which means you …Read more
This is like a leave-in conditioner. It hydrates your hair and makes it feel softer but it is not a styling product. There is no hold and it can weigh your hair down if you use too much of it. I will keep it for those days when my hair feels dry.
