Hair Styling Tools - Rusk - Speed Freak Blow Dryer

I like this hair dryer a lot. I have the pink one, and I got it for $70 at Winners. If you buy it elsewhere it can cost well over $100.
It really does dry my hair fast, especially if I use it on the highest settings. I have long and thick hair and this dries my hair in less than 15 minutes. The cool shot is nice too, to use when I am all finished drying my hair. It's easy to clean …

Before I purchased this I was using a cheap Vidal Sassoon straightener that I got for $20. It served the purpose for several years, but I wanted to upgrade. I was excited when I saw this at Winner's for $40, since it can retail for over $100.
The one I have is zebra print. It has many heat settings for any hair type and thickness. My hair has a slight wave, but I have a lot of hair and …

Eye Shadow - MAC Cosmetics - Eye Shadow - Print

This was one of my first MAC shadows. It is a nice shade of gray that is not shimmery, but not completely matte. I have used it for several things including a soft eyeliner and making bright colours more wearable by placing this on the outer corner of the eye.

Primer/ Corrector - MAC Cosmetics - Prep + Prime Face Protect Lotion SPF 50

I thought this would be a great way to get my primer and SPF all in one step, so I purchased even though it is very expensive for a small amount of product. Unfortunately, it broke me out and I had to stop using it. I have since realized that I had a sensitivity to silicones, which are in almost all makeup primers and other face products as well. Many people have sensitivities to silicone and …Read more

Cleansers - MAC Cosmetics - Cleanse Off Oil

This is a good makeup remover for the face, but I do not use it around my eyes. When I use it to remove eye makeup it makes my vision blurry for several minutes, no matter how tightly I keep my eyes closed. For this reason I do not feel comfortable using it on my eyes, I use 100% jojoba oil instead.
However, it is good to use to remove face makeup. I have sensitive acne-prone skin and it has …

Treatments - Burt's Bees - Lemon Butter Cuticle Cream

I love the lemon smell and natural ingredients. This cuticle cream is very nourishing and absorbs fairly well if you take the time to massage it in. My cuticles are definitely healthier when I use this, compared to just using hand cream. My other favourite cuticle treatment is The Body Shop almond oil click pen with the cuticle pusher on the end.

I like this eye cream, it doesn't completely solve all undereye problems, but it is still really good.
First of all, it has a really great list of ingredients and is very affordable. It is around $15-$20 depending on where you buy it and you get quite a bit in the tube. In addition, the packaging is really good. It's easy to squeeze out the amount you want, where with a pump …

This is a nice moisturizing body wash, it did not leave my skin dry at all. The smell is pleasant, but I want to try some of the other body washes from The Body Shop too, because there are some that smell even better.

Lotions/ Creams - The Body Shop - Soft Hands Kind Heart Hand Cream

This is a nice hand cream, and I did purchase it several times. I have recently stopped buying it due to the fact that silicone breaks me out, so I try to avoid it in face products, hair products, and hand creams. If this hand cream was silicone free I would buy it again for sure. It absords easily into the skin, and is quite moisturizing. All the proceeds before taxes go to a good cause. The …Read more
