Blush - Bourjois - Cream Blush - Healthy Glow (02)

Just bought my second compact. This cream blush is perfect for easy spring and summer looks. It's just the thing for low maintenance days when I want a little colour over my sunscreen. It adds a lovely natural glow that wears well, and is easily applied and blended in with fingers.

Indeed, I find the Bourjous cream blushes the easiest to apply of all the ones I've bought: …

Shampoo - Schwarzkopf - Bonacure Color Save- Silver

Almost through my second bottle, and I will definitely be buying again. This shampoo keeps my white hair absolutely, beautifully, silvery white. Even better, it does so without stripping my hair or making it brittle. Instead, after my once a week use of this shampoo, my hair is silky soft and snowy white.

By far the best "purple" shampoo, I've ever used.

Gels/ Soaps - L'Occitane - 20% Shea Butter Soap

I've been using this soap for over ten years. It's the only one I can use all over - I mean all over - without dryness or irritation. Every time I'm tempted by another soap, I regret it. It's gotten to the point where I even bought L'Occitane's ridiculously overpriced little tin so I could take the soap with me when I travel.

So, yes. Love the stuff …

Eye Primer - e.l.f. Cosmetics - Essential Eyelid Primer - Sheer

I thought ELF eye primer sounded too good to be true. But given the price and the reviews, I thought I'd give it a go. I got it, put it on. It spread beautifully. My eyeshadow looked lovely and even. And then my eyes started getting itchy and my lids started swelling. And yet another adventure ended in tears.

I know it wasn't my shadow, but to give ELF the benefit of …

Love this stuff. Everything I wanted the Weleda lip balm to be, but wasn't. Incredibly simple lip balm that keeps my lips moisturised without any overwhelming scents or silly flavours. Packaging is beyond plain, but the amount of product is fabulous. I have one on my bedside table, but I'm already planning to buy a few more to salt around in my handbags and downstairs bathroom.

Moisturizers - Sisley-Paris - All Day All Year - Essential Day Care

No, no, and no. I have very damaged skin after a misspent youth with too much sun and saltwater and nowhere near enough sunscreen or moisturiser. Long story short, I'm paying for it now.

Over the last few years, I've been looking for sun protection I could wear everyday. After trying everything from Nivea, neutrogena, Clinique, Estée Lauder, Aveeno, California Baby, No …

Sunscreen - La Roche-Posay - Anthelios XL SPF 50 Lait Veloute

Just got this today, and it performed superbly. My five-year-old son and I subjected it to an intense trial by fire and water: 100 minutes in a sunny swimming pool. Except for the crispy bits on my shoulder where I missed, we emerged our usual pasty selves. I'm thrilled. It goes on well, doesn't smell at all, and lasted amazingly well in the water. Hooray! Next time I just have …Read more

I wanted to like this product. It has simple packaging, great ingredients, and felt good on my lips, but the scent pushed my allergies into overdrive. I'm talking sneezes strong enough to shake the rafters, loud enough for the neighbours to hear, and then there were the tears. So if you're sensitive to strong florals give this lip balm a pass.
