Misc Beauty Tools - Sephora Collection - Precision Pore Cleansing Pad

there is nothing wrong with these little pads - they do their job and rather inexpensive (even from sephora). good for a daily wash and great for travel. they are small, very light and probably will last a long time. however, the reviews that compare these little manual tools to the wonders of clarisonic and tell these work better than clarisonic? they must be kidding. just wash your face with …Read more

Treatments (Face) - No Brand (DIY or homemade) - Honey

inspired by all the positive reviews, i decided to give honey another chance. used it so long ago, forgot why i stopped.
now i know why - my very sensitive skin still too sensitive for honey.
i used organic raw honey, made by bees in the loving care of our friends, took a very small amount and mixed it with evoo. warmed up between fingers and patted gently over face.
feels good …

Misc Beauty Tools - Clarisonic - Mia2

i had mia3 (area) for over 2 years. unfortunately, the battery started loosing its power. it used to run for over 3 weeks on a single charge, now it needs to be charged every few days and it does not clean as good as new.
since clarisonic is quite an expensive tool (and that is before you begin adding new brushes every 3 months), i was not rushing to spend more $$. but then sephora had a …

Moisturizers - No Brand (DIY or homemade) - Avocado Oil

Dec/09/2015

i only use avocado oil on as an hair conditioner, and it is the absolutely best thing for me. just mix equal parts organic unfiltered avocado oil and organic aloe vera, i make small batches, since it is so easy to make. put into a small dark glass bottle with a dropper. when the hair is wet, shake the bottle. use 1/2 a dropper, warming the mixture between your palms and apply to the roots …Read more

makeupalley - you did it again!
i've been searching for a natural alternative to the drugstore deodorant for quite some time. found nothing that would make me buy them again. they promise a lot, most (but not all) smell good, but they fail to deliver and can be quite expensive too.
makeupalley to the rescue. after reading all the reviews, i was worried that baking soda could be too …

what an amazing find. thank you guys!
i used to buy the Pearlescent Pink years ago (when it was in a larger silver container), but totally forgot about when switching from powder blushes to cream ones.
well, today while looking for nail polish, i saw wet'n wild display and the blushes were so beautiful and on sale, i decided to give them a try.
taking a closer look, i realized …

my new favorite nail polish. as much as i love the SH Complete Salon - the brush, the color selection, etc - this lasts much better. applying 2 coats of color and 1 coat of top polish, can easily give you 7 days of perfect manicure.
after a week, the tips of nails begin to show. but that is the small price to pay for a solid week of no chips, no scratches, no fading color. love it!
i …

Eye Shadow - Josie Maran Cosmetics - Coconut Watercolor Eyeshadow

What a disaster of a product.
I used this at Sephora, as instructed, shaking the tiny bottle for a few seconds and applying the eyeshadow just above the eyelashes. The rose Gold is a gorgeous color and looked as beautiful out of the bottle.
Luckily, I didn't have the time to purchase it. By the time I walked 3 short blocks home, the glitter spread in big clumps all over my eyelids …

gorgeous color. based on color alone, this nail polish deserves 1 star.
unfortunately, that is the one and only good thing that can be said about it.
would you believe that a saturated color like this would streak like crazy? more than any thin, milky-white cheap polish out there but it does, oh boy how it streaks.
drying time? i cannot recall another nail polish that absolutely …

possibly the most horrible nail polish. ever.
this is my first butter nailpolish and i cannot believe how awful it is, expecially given the outrageous price. any nail polish from a dollar store will give you much better results. and i mean, ANY!
the color looked so yummy in a bottle, i had to buy it. big mistake, big.
streaks like crazy and refuses to dry. i waited over 2 hours …
